Only thing i would add to that is.....Khan has a better strategist in his corner (Roach)who will even up the odds when its comes Khan's inexperience vs Malignaggi's experience, i think Khan hangs on Roach's every word and carries it out to the letter, Roach knows whats going to be the most effective fight to minimize Paulie's.
True, but if Khan starts to get uncomfortable that gameplan might start to slip away.
I think Khan should look good early on but Paulie's going to have to turn the tide which I think is a possibility. If he doesn't then it will be a long night for him.
I'm skipping out on this card hoping it will bomb in TV ratings. Ortiz and Khan are making more money than guys like Alexander and Bradley are, and that's not right. I hope one day HBO gets the point and understands we want fighters and not pretty boys. No disrespect to Sergio Martinez.
Khan will murder Malignaggi!
Seriously,I hope Paulies family know a good mortician in NYC! Khan message to Malignaggi:

Will be so exciting to watch Malignaggi face made into Salami pizza for free on ITV1!
Trust me this British Boy Khan will smash Malignaggis Skull!:boxing:
Khan has the tangible advantages (speed, power) but Paulie has the intangibles (toughness both mental and physical, experience). If I recall as the Cotto fight went on he started hitting and grabbing and doing some inside work, making it a rough fight if he does that it could make Khan uncomfortable in addition to the fact that I've never seen any inside game from Khan. Paulie also has the hometown crowd behind him and I've never seen him up more a fight.
I do like Khan to outwork him but I won't be shocked if Paulie pulls it off.

I have never seen Khan's footspeed. The fights I have seen of his he shows a lot of handspeed but tends to be very stationary. I think Malignaggi is still the better man in footwork and ring generalship and probably even handspeed. Khan has the upper hand in power & aggressiveness in this particular fight.
He showed his footwork in the Kotelnik, Barrera and Salita fights, basically the fights after he got together with Roach. He has some quick feet which allows him to dart in and out and side to side very quickly.

Basically when you're a speedy boxer who relies on your speed as an advantage over your opponents, you'll have trouble with an even faster guy who can get off first. I think that'll be the big factor in the fight. Khan is faster than Malignaggi and can get his punches off first which will cause Malignaggi a lot of trouble, I don't think Malignaggi has really fought a guy who is faster than him both on footspeed and on handspeed.

Paulie has been in tougher fights than Khan. Hatton, Cotto, Diaz x2, and N'Dou x2.
Khan's fought Prescott, Barrera*, Kotelnik, Salita.
Malignaggi has the upper hand in experience and tougher challenges faced. Maybe that will mentally give Malignaggi the edge and help him win a decision.
i think Khan wins this easily,he does have natural athletic ability and now is a smarter wiser boxer with a solid gameplan that he can stick to and im sure a plan B also if needed.
Sure he may not have a great chin, but his defence and fast footwork will help ihm out,and his high punch output serves as good weopen for keeping himself even getting any punches back, aslong as hes careful to not get wild.
i think paulie is good, but as a person hes really over doing it with the shit talk, sometimes he can be entertaining but at moment just being a bit of a twat.
I seen a fair few paulie fights several times over,he does the same things every fight,in every exchange, always starts with his left jab,and thats his main weopon, circling clockwise jabbing away, making sure his jab lands before the opponent lands anything, usiing his footwork to back away from any counter punches and stop any fighter sitting on punches.
sometimes he puts a left jab right hand together, and if he feels confident hele put in a right upercut and hook in there to make more than a 2 punch combination.
the true test for khan is can he be on the level of skill that paulie and others are on,and wele see how good his speed and power really is.
I think khan gets to work with impunity in this fight, which makes him very dangerous. I just don't see how Paulie can win this fight. I'm guessing he's going to be fighting on the back foot trying to counter but with the power he has/hasn't it's only a matter of time before the inevitable. Paulie is going to be vulnerable/on-a-knife-edge from the get-go. Hope the 'Magic man' has some 'tricks' up his sleeves. He's going to need 'em.
WAR PAULIE!
I have watched Paulies past few fights and I do think Khan could stop him I don't think Paulie will be knocked out but I think there is a chance he could get stopped on his feet with how Khan likes to go in for the attack when he has his man hurt. I am so pumped for this fight! Just 24 hours or so!
Im really feeling a KO for Khan.
I'd love this to happen, but i can't see it. Paulie may well be a bit of a cunt, but he's a tough cunt.
If Amir KO's him i'd be really impressed.
I can't wait for tomorrow night, Mitchell - Katsidis in what has war written all over it, the chance of hopefully seeing DeGale getting sparked out,the promising Billy Jo Saunders, Danny Williams hopefully going out with a final hurrah and an Amir v Paulie grudge fight. :boxing:
in other words paulie is gonna get outworked
Nah i think he will get stopped, Khan has more! chance of hurting him if he backs up than he if he goes on the front foot imo, simply because he does not do enough to repel pressure, now Diaz, Hatton, Cotto need to be in mid range or inside to get off, Khan will be able to get off from long range, that will be a big factor imo, Khan does not need to put himself in counter punching range to get off.
There is a reason this fight got made. Paulie is a solid name who is a good style match up for Khan.
Exactly.. Hopefully the match maker is making a huge mistake..
Both these guys style are more geared for the Amateurs.. Paulie cant hit hard but hopefully he buzzes khan. i like paulie man.. khan doesnt have a good beard. Paulie is tough as nails.. No Kayos.. UD.. I think Khan takes it.. But im rooting for my boy paulie.. GTL baby!

Exactly, I see Paulie getting Stopped.
Yea....I'm rooting for Paulie but if I was a betting man I'd pick Khan...
Paulie can do it though...fighting in his backyard I think he'll box his ass off...
