Why won't floyd's camp just ask the comission for OST or stricter testing for this fight?
if the commision feels it is unnecessary, then go drop it. if the commission approves it, manny should accept.
I believe that all commissions should have stricter drug testing procedures, but the problem is chemists are coming up with more ways to improve performance or mask theses effects faster, than others are finding ways to detect them.
Hannibal Barca, Flyod cannot claim to be "cleanig up the sport", if:
A) He doesn't create a movement/petition that lets it be known to the commissions that these boxers believe that OST should be introduced, and will not box with these commissions till something is done.
B) Have OST for ALL fights within his promotions and affiliated promotions. Monetary expenses are nothing compared to the legacy of "cleaning up the sport" but he seems to be only interested in OST when it is against people he goes up against.
He hasn't done either and it looks like he is trying to promote himself as being the good guy while trying to hide his selfishness. And I mean selfish as "I need my opponents to do the testing but I couldn't care less about anyone elses matches".
Do I think any sport will ever be clean? No, but thats me being a realist people cheat everyday it is in our nature to take the easy way out, sad but true. We know that most boxers are clean but a few ruin sport but thats the ones people talk about.
Let's hope the commission realise this quickly and find a way to keep all fighters happy, healthy and clean.
You don't have a point, because pressure has been placed on the commissions, hence the reason they're looking to improve their policies.
then we agree that manny shouldn't take tests until it is approved by the commission
in case you missed it, my point here is, the pressure should be on the commission, not the fighters. when it is implemented, then there is no reason for the fighters to go against it.

Then what are you moaning about? You're for better testing, Floyd brought it to the forefront, placing pressure on the commissions to improve their testing policies. You should be happy. Move along now.
In proposing superior testing, he has, which is why they're(the commissions) looking to improve their policies.

please spare me your self-righteous rants.
the fact is, no one really gave a shit before this whole thing was proposed. now everyone's acting like the absence of ost would cause the death of boxing.
i haven't seen anyone complaining about the current testing until just now.
if floyd's actions caused the commission to re think its testing, then that's all well and good. and im for better testing in the long run.
but now, i want this fight and so do most of boxing and non-boxing fans alike. floyd stating his case won't hurt.
instead of pressuring manny to take the test, why not pressure the commission?

That's because you're retarded.
People have been trying to kill illegal doping in sports for the past 10 years. Open your eyes and pay attention.
He's gotten multiple commissions to review their policies going about it the way he did. What need does he have to present his case, when bringing his proposals to the forefront have gotten the job done?
You're upset, I understand. Killing your threads has become a habit.
seems to me your'e the one that's upset.
As I said, leave it to Ryannn to say something completely and utterly retarded.
I don't give a shit about Floyd or Pac. Boxers rise and fall like the winter wheat, integrity last forever. After Pac and Floyd, another boxer will rise to superstardom. My hope is by that time the integrity of boxing is secured.

you are obviously on floyd's nuts and trying to conceil it.
i didn't even defend pac or shit on floyd. i just want to get this done.
unlike the PED crusaders who does nothing but argue how manny could be cheating instead of talking about ways to make this happen.

as i said before, i want this fight more than cleaning up the sport.
unlike fake-ass crusaders who were no where to be seen before this whole thing happened.
and yes, i am aware that nsac have been talking about adopting a new testing method, it doesn't mean that floyd shouldn't state his case to the commission to convince them to go through with it.
now, why don't you find possible drug combinations that improves technique and tell me about it..

Because of Floyd's proposal, both the NSAC and NYSAC, have are looking to improve their testing policies. NSAC is supposed to sit down and review WADA testing methods, and how they worked for Mayweather-Mosely sometime in the near future.
Obviously, he went about things the right way.

:lol1:
has floyd petitioned it to the commission?
he wants a fair fight. if he feels that the current tests are inadequate and he has a case, then he has nothing to lose.
as long as OST is not the standard, then manny has every right to refuse it.
why don't you go google "PED-pacquiao" and make a thread about it?

Always bet on Ryannn to make a stupid ass pointless thread.

Ive never heard anyone answer this question. If Floyd is doing this for the good of the sport, why does he refuse to present his case to the commission?
its a pretty reasonable stand if you ask me.
if floyd wants a fair fight, and feels ost is necessary, then he should ask the commission for it. not the fighter.
Im not clowning you. Arum just literally says that shit all the time
that's fair. but testing should not come at the expense of the fight.
i want this fight more than i want to clean up boxing. that's just me.
Fair point right back at me. I would forego the tests to see the fight, too. But afterwards, the commissions should all adopt it immediately and make it a standard in boxing. Like a new chapter.
Why so? If some fighters feel as though current testing methods aren't adequate enough, then they have a right to make a stand and voice their concerns. It'll only make the commissions seem more corrupt if they disregard them outright.

Are you Bob Arum? Sounds like some shit he would say, lol
