If anyone gets a chance join a few torrent sites and d/l some of those amateur fights, tourneys (Aba & Gloves) etc. Nothing compares to following these guys from their amateur days till the time they become champions and stars of boxing. I just love seeing the grow and develop at the various stages of their career.
I can't wait to see Raushee Warren, Schimwell Pagan, and Michael Hunter make their pro debuts. I would have listed Marcus Browne as well but I still he needs to work on his attitude in order to be a great fighter. But yeah the future of boxing looks bright, always has and always will.
WORD first off he looks pretty small for a welter..a juan diaz clone..works hard..may pick up a abc belt but nothing stands out...Benavidez on the other hand is p4p king potential someday!
He has an average height for a welter, he's 5'8, cotto is 5'7, pacquiao 5'7, mayweather 5'8.
The kid is 17, he will fill out eventually, he's also fighting at Junior Welter.
TBH, wasnt all that impressed with gomez' debut.
looks more like a hard worker than a guy who's physically talented or incredibly skilled.

Right cuz if there's a nuclear war and every sentient thing on Earth is fried, boxing will live on with cockroaches and whatever sea creatures survive. Awesome.
