I don't agree with anyone who says Hatton. Okay the first 2 rounds Hatton made him uncomfortable, but he landed NOTHING meaninful and was getting hit by clean right hands and left hooks easily. He was walking into punches....just because someone keeps coming forward, does not mean they are fighting better. Shane hurt Floyd more than ANY fighter ever has, he turned his legs to jelly twice and Floyd overcame that...definitely the tougher fight. Floyd had to overcome serious handspeed and being hurt more than ever in his life against Mosley...against Hatton, he just had to get used to someone being up in his face so much...which he dealt with....and then proceeded to KHTFO in stunning fashion. Mosley was the tougher fight....but Floyd's two toughest fights were Castillo and De La Hoya for me....and even them he won.
Yeah Hatton was a tougher fight but that fight wasnt particularly Tough....Sure Hatton tried to rough him up and made the fight a lil ugly but Floyd handled him well and outboxed hatton to death when they actually did box!
hatton is the type of fighter nobody enjoys fighting. Win or lose, it will usually be tough night.
pac says different lol........and to answer the question mosley rocked mayweather but hatton was the tougher fight......
Hatton wasn't tougher - he just wrestled a lot. Save for one jab he did nothing IMO. In the end he was broken down, beaten up, then KTFO.
I agree with you 100%
hatton fought more, but wasn't really trouble for floyd----hatton was dominated by floyd fighting hatton's own fight---that's why it looked tough for floyd, but it wasn't----shane just became a sitting duck though---floyd made shane afraid to throw at him---floyd kept snapping shane's head back bad----hatton fought floyd to the finish, but i don't know how his neck didn't break either---floyd made hatton's head snap back like a bobblehead----

Really, do you think Pacquiao would say the same thing? lol
Floyd needed more time to adjust to Hatton quick foot movement, but once he had his pattern down, fight was over. But mentally, Floyd needed to be more alert against Shane because he can pack a bigger punch even when hes exausted.
Trying to box a wrestler will produce that illusion.
a wrestler that cut Castillo in half and made zoo quit? He may not of been pretty but he fought the best and fought his hardest thats why he is loved.
I will say that Mayweather is alot bigger now then he was against Hatton. He's more natural at the weight.

hatton was floyd toughest fight since castillo
