Was Khan actually ko'd here?

That man has got the talent to one of the GOAT brits ever. But he needs to tighten up that defense.

i think so, i've seen fights stopped for less, and also seen fights stopped when a fighter did the exact same thing as khan did in that vid. who knows, too late now to do anything about it.

Not sure on the rules but Khan was very green back then. He always looked at his corner. It's not a rule that it's two knockdowns, I'm just saying it should be. Tim Bradley got away with that same bullshit against Kendall Holt last year. I'm not criticizing Khan for using it to his advantage. He did the right thing. I'm saying change the damn rule.

If you go by the ITV timer, it's 10 seconds +, but the referee's count is what matters, and I think he was just reaching 10 when Khan stood back up for the second time. I havn't watched this fight since it was live, but I seem to remember Khan tiring very quickly? It looks like the trouble shot hit him on the ear or behind the ear which shut off his balance right away. I think something similar happened in the Gomez fight too. So really the 'chin' point I think comes from the Prescott fight when he actually took one to the jaw. And in fairness to Khan, he never got shut offline completely, he was still trying to get up, even if his body had failed him. Now though, Roach's been trying to put more power into his legs and he seems at a more natural weight. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Khan isn't fragile, but I don't think as fragile as people believe. I think he'll do well from here on out as-long as he gets defence in order. He'll still break from a hard shot, bnecause mentally I don't think he believes he could take one either, that seemed clear in the Kotelnik fight. Good post .

Because his defence was utter shite Not just defence, his footwork was poor. His mindset was poor I forgot how bad he was in the esarly days, even though I seen him dropped by guys like Limond and Gomez. But he is a lot sharper, faster and tight now, with good footwork.

i think if he uses his brain and keeps a tight defence at all times he might be ok. not sure if he has just plain and simple got an awful chin,or if the weight he was at and his frame being of bad proportion and not boxing very smart made it seem worse. but i respect him for getting up and winning by stoppage and knocking his man down in the very next round,surely someone who gets knocked down to get back up again and win should get some props. although in this case im not sure if he should have been counted out as he was counted to about 7 or 8 then took a knee,is that legal to take a knee and get the alloted time to be on the knee after the count has already started?.

Then Salita who was untested but he did a job on him. Let's wait before saying if his chin has improved. He took some shots from Kotelnik and Barrera. They hit harder than Limond IMO. Khan's weight is not uper body mainly now. They moved it to bigger and stronger legs now. His right hand is tucked closer to his chin, and left more safe.

yup thats what ive been saying that dude gets rocked by weak ass dudes. so theres no way he can take a bunch by maidana or any hard hitters. He had to starve to make 135. The guy is 5 foot 10 and was 135 since a teen. Of course he will grow He came back anyway
