I've read the articles, but i'm just curious on how he looked, was he a different fighter or the same tornado? did the time off and the wraps issue take anything away from him?
Round 1-5 was vintage Margarito with added skill, 5-10 he was moving a lot and looked kind of winded around the 7-8th round. I believe it was a combination of ring rust, new game plan, and trying to shake the cobwebs. Still it was a pretty solid performance IMO, I rate him a B+.
margarito looked rusty
hopefully he fights again soon more inactivity wont help him
anyway that was a tough kid they put him in with and he did the best he could
looks like he did...and many have stated that he was in the gym on a regular basis....
good to know. as shitty as the plaster thing was i liked marg and want him to redeem himself
I only saw the first two rounds, but most people have said he looked tired down the stretch. It may have been the inactivity having a bit of an effect if he did, and it would hardly be suprising.
It might be the weight as well, also the fact that his old trainer made him work real hard in training, we don't know how the new trainer is doing.
green k for you, was his workrate still the same or was he throwing less?

He was toying with the dude, Taunting him and had his hands down trying to be like Martinez vs. Pavlik.
TBH He looked great, Maybe he's hiding his chin or maybe he's just wanting to try something new out who knows...

Stick and move. From what I read, he wasnt his usual self. No more toe to toe brawling. He was dancing on his toes and picking his shots.
well hopefully he will impreove his defense but i think he might go back to his old style of brawling when he gets in there with a top 147 or 154 and gets hit hard!!!

was it as effective as his come forward style? was his workrate still high? Anyone who actually saw the fight would be helpful though.
I have no idea what that means, anyone else?
