In my personal opinion he should fight pacman and stop complaining about olympic testing. If the boxing commission doesn't require these tests then pacman shouldn't be singled out.
If he beats pacman that would surely put him on the path to ali greatness.

First he has to win a Fighter Of The Decade award to start, he's not even the best fighter in 1 decade.
present day boxers to do not stand a chance of being rated as highly as the greats from the past.
the truth is everyone looks back in the past with sunshine tinted glasses,
Damn that was low... lol but I think its important to bring stuff like that up for the people that have the impression that Ali is just far in above any other fighter ever in boxing and he is this untouchable figure. He was just a fighter a very great fighter when you look at who he has beat and dominated but still a human flesh and blood fighter. Its also important to point out that the stuff your talking about was in the twilight of his career though.
It comes across like that because of what Ali was in and out of the ring.He talk big and was'int like threw his career but he back it up by beating prime Champions.Key word is Prime.May's two biggest fight's(Legacy wise)came with two great fighters not in the Prime of their career's.Ali's biggest fights were against nothing but dangerous Prime opponents.Oh and Ali was the voice of a people so it made him even greater.
Easily. You gotta remember klitchko is 6'6 and has a huge reach. He also hits just as hard as a prime tyson or foreman because of his strength and his long arms.
LMAO boy I save the title of Idiot for very few occasions and this is one of them.
Ali went to jail for Five yrs bruh and was banned from boxing in the U.S.
Yeah he did I know Ali's career pretty well he was an incredible fighter just not some god like untouchable figure. Read my previous posts to see my take on this whole thing.
Ok, please tell me how Ali is better than Floyd when the dude was floored by Henry Cooper? Cooper came in weighing what a light heavy weighs. He floored Ali, Ali cheated not once, but twice. Before the cheating he was saved by the bell. Today, he would have lost. He could stand, but he was not coherent. (He stands up from his corner thinking he is still fighting). But ok, Dundee admittedly ripped Ali's glove to buy him some time. Thats cheating. He then used the banned substance smelling salt to wake Ali up. This was against a bum Light Heavyweight, with 8 losses to bums. Knocked Ali retarded. Can you imagine if Floyd got knocked down, and had to do that stuff to beat a guy weighing 23 lbs less than him? Floyd gets shi* for weighing 3 lbs more than Marquez, or fighting a guy whose natural weight is a little lower. Not struggling with these people, but just for fighting them. Heck, Ali fought Henry Cooper twice. 2 times. Dear god if Floyd did that?
Ali fought Archie Moore...can you imaging if Floyd fought a guy with 200 pro fights and that was 50 freakin years old?
And speaking of "prime". After winning the title from Liston, Ali's next 5 fights were against guys who either weighed less than 200, or had double digit losses, or had been recently shot in the stomach and were fighting for the first time since having yards of their intestine removed. Again, can you imagine if Floyd did that?
Oh and then after losing to Frazier, did Ali go and fight someone good? No, he fought 189 lbs Jimmy Ellis. Ali outweighed him by 31 lbs. Again, if Floyd did that?
But dont worry, after Jerry Quarry crushed Mathis, Ali decided to fight someone bigger than him. Good job. Way to be a man fighting someone who hadnt fought in 2.5 years and were coming off a massacre.
Who did Ali fight after Mathis? You guessed it, the great Juergen Blin. 198 lbs of amazing. But hey he only had 9 losses and 6 draws in 40 fights....
Heck in 1972 alone, Ali fought 3 guys under 200 lbs, 2 were rematches and 2 were under 190 lbs. Ali was over 220 at the time btw....Again, if Floyd did that?
And dont tell me that Ali didnt duck people. Why didnt ALi rematch young or shavers? 2 guys who beat him but got Ali'ed by the judges.
Ali also only fought guys who had been beat. Ali beat 3 guys who were undefeated his entire career. One weighed under 190 and finished their career 23-22. One was Leon Spinks who was in his 8th pro fight, had been drawn and had already beat Ali. And one was Foreman.
Ali was a fraud. 188 lbs doug jones beat Ali. Just got hosed on the scorecards. People bash Floyd all th etime for being hurt once. Ali was hurt every fight, knocked down all the time, and fought guys much smaller than him.
You have a point but the thing to notice and what made Ali so great was that all his big fights was against prime opponents.Mayweather's biggest fights was against who?Hoya and Mosley I give him credit for the win's but it can't be compared to Foreman a big hard hitting HW in his prime. To Joe Frazier a never say die never quit fighter who also was a heavy hitter and Prime.May's big fights always leaves questions the what if's and that's the difference.
If PBF took risks in his career he should be by now nearly seen as one of boxings best ever boxers. But he cheated himself by not taking risks. Fighting Hatton at 147 and JMM and getting referee help. Fighting old man SSM 5 years too late.
So hes got catching up to do. Beating Pac is a good start and then beating him in a rematch. And then one fight at lightmiddle against the best light middleweight. Hopes it a good light middle weightas well.
Skill for skill... Floyd got him.
Popularity... Ali is unreachable.
Mostly because of the era he fought in and the issues going on at the time.
Skill for skill I can't call it Floyd is great for this era but put him in with guys like SRL or Hearns Duran Pryor I don't think he wins the majority of those fights IMO.
how do you know klitchko doesnt hit as hard as foreman? Foreman K.O'd bums, klitchko K.O's champions.
Listen I don't know if Klitchko is you cusin or what but Forman KO Crazy Smoking Joe Klithchko could not even KO weak chin Lewis who was Ko by guys who did not really have Power like that.
It's too late for him, the fact that he cherry picked opponents from like 04-09 is something Ali would have never done. Ali was a true champion and he fought all the tough competition in his day. Floyd is a very gifted boxer who could be considered top 50 of all time. But he can't leapfrog Ali
be forreal..he could beat them all and still people would say he was nowhere near that status..it has nothing to do with that..people are caught up in the nostalgia of that Ali era..he defeated Shane..who beat Marg..who beat Cotto..if he were to beat Pac, who also beat Cotto..people still wont put him there..different era..its not happening no matter what!
I agree with you that it was a different era.But the fact remains that if he fought those fights he would be closer to guys like SRL Ali Smoking Joe ect ect.He leaves room for questions when is the last time he fought somebody in they prime Hatton come on this is not the mark of greatness.I gave Mayweather his due for beating Mosley but what the haters say Shane was past it.The trouble with Mayweather is he never takes the fights when he suppose to.Cotto was prime so was Margas and even Shane was at a better age but what he said I have nothing left to prove which was utter Bullshit.
so sad he was overshadowed and doesnt get his due..
How much more "due" do you want smokey Joe to have?
He's regarded as an ATG despite his record being 1-4 against the best fighters he ever ought.
He routinely ducked and avoided virtually every puncher of his generation.
fought on average just twice a year against hand picked opposition for the most part.
He get's more "due" than he deserves.
His legacy is that of a leech.
Truth is Floyd had his chance to prove it and he did not do it he retired. When Cotto Margas and Shane were all there ready and willing to fight he said he had nothing left to prove.Funny thing was that was the time to prove it the top WW were in place and if he could have beat them he would be alot closer then he is now at saying he is greater then Ali.But at the moment no he is not.

who ever said Ali is the G.O.A.T. had an opinion..no one thought Ali was the greatest when he fought..no one said he was, but Ali himself..Floyd may never be labeled that..
but he can continue to call himself that all he wants..but you cannot compare that era vs this era..its completely different..lets just start by saying is Floyd the G.O.A.T. of this era..many will say that he is..but its still just an opinion..the end all, be all isnt Ali..
I personally liked Frazier more than Ali..so sad he was overshadowed and doesnt get his due..

Dude first LOL Forman would kill Klitchko. What makes you think that Klitchko hits harder the Forman he could not even KO weak chin Lewis LOL come on bro.

Floyd said he is better than ali. Who does he need to beat to prove this to you? | BoxingScene Community
