How can this equate to G.O.A.T.

Hatton (Future HoF) was in his prime, who destroyed another top P4P fighter in Tszyu, destroyed Castillo and also unified his division. He was the top JWW between 2005-2009 (until Pacman beat him), he was top 4/5 P4P fighter when he fought Mayweather. Hatton wasn't prime when he fought Pacman, Mayweather destroyed him chin, plus a further year-and-a-half of blowing up in weight didn't help Hatton. Easy pickings for Pacman. Mosley (Future HoF) was old and ring-rusted by still ranked as a top P4P fighter and WBA Super Champ. JMM (Future HoF) was blown up yes, I agree, but you can't argue with the schooling that Mayweather gave one of the most skilled counter-punchers of this generation. OLDH (Future HoF) got outboxed by Floyd, Pacman destroyed him with punch power and volume, stop comparing Pac to Floyd, styles make fights. Mayweather is a counter-puncher so naturally he wouldn't throw as much punches. Baldomir wasn't a journeyman.. He beat Gatti and Judah before fighting Mayweather, two very good wins. He had a lot of losses but he wasn't a journeyman. Journeymen do not hold World Titles. Diego Corrales (Future HoF) was 33-0 (27) and ranked top-5 P4P when Mayweather destroyed him. He beat Castillo (Future HoF) in his prime, one was very close (disputed) and the 2nd was a clear win for Mayweather.

Floyd has the potential to be GOAT. But to be consider that he needs to demolish Manny. Move up to 154 demolish Martinez and Williams. It fact that Floyd resume is far from being GOAT.

I have one simple question for you, is pac an all time great? and if mayweather beats pac , will you agree he is an ATG. seriously who the hell do you want him to beat....aside from pac? Castillo werent so great and PBF lost the first one, Hatton was at 147 with referee help, and so on and so forth. If he beats him in a rematch as well i would then give him credit as there must be something special about Floyd. But he has to overachieved because he has taken it easy for 2 years and that has benefitted him. No wars.

So was JMM-Pac a BS decision? yes. Ironically in both cases the scorecards were added wrong, making both fights a draw when they shouldn't have been.

i wouldnt'say goat, but i'd definetly say he's the best boxer of this generation. but being best boxer doesn't mean youre p4p number 1, pacquiao has a better record and has done it more convincingly.

With the skills that Floyd has, he could have done way more than what he's done, Back when Floyd was the WBC champion at 130 besides Corrales instead of Chavez or Hernandez he could have fought Casamayor and Freitas, at 135 I believe Castillo won the first fight even though he handily beat him in the rematch, after the Castillo fights he cherry picked his opponents to the #1 P4P spot, Sosa, N'Dou, Corley, Bruseles, and Gatti, he goes up to 147 and faces Mitchell, Judah and Baldomir then goes up beats D.L.H and comes down to take a small Ricky Hatton who's first and last fight at WW got a gift decision over Collazo, all this instead of fighting and having Cotto, Margarito and Williams in his resume... That's why I think Floyd's has a low point in his legacy, Shane might have been a good win but is not a shocker, the guy has been outboxed by less talented and slower fighters than Floyd... Plus Mosley is the best fighter who at least had a chance in beating Floyd since Castillo back in 2002... Floyd needs Pacquaio to partially save his legacy, not fighting the likes of Casamayor, Tyszu, Cotto, Margarito and P.Williams instead opting to face C class fighters would maintain question mark on his legacy...

The man has a high opinion of himself.....and fair enough. If you achieved what he has in the sport, you would think you are GOD reincarnate. That is to be expected.
