He looks a lot stronger at 33 than he did at 29 in the division.
A hair slower... but a lot stronger.
He has definitely grown into a full welterweight.
I Disagree.
Slower, yes, but since he's so good with his reflexes and defensive he makes up for what he lost in terms in speed if you get what i mean? This guy could always fight great on the inside and outside so if he stood his ground he wouldn't be the lesser one of the two.
If he was stronger, Mosley and Marquez would have been KO wins, not one-sided decisions when he clearly could have taken them away. just IMO.
nEITHER HAVE BEEN ko'D
Mayweather could of KOed Marquez whenever he wanted to. Or at least got a TKO.
no...he was rusty as hell against JMM....he was pressing for a KO...but he couldn't get it.
all i know is every time somebody says something bad about floyd you are there defending him. add the fact that you support nothing but black fighters its clear that you are too racially attached to floyd & cannot see clearly.
all i know is he coudlnt make the contract weight with marquez & refuses to weigh in on fight night. im not the one speculating how much he doesnt weigh.
that would be you & check hook.
yeah ok sory....he was 180 pounds against Shane:pat:......happy?

Floyd definitely looks stronger imo.....it doesn't look like many WW's will be pushing Floyd around in there....dude lookin' like a lil' black hulk in there

He used PEDs while he was retired. He learned the ins and outs about them. He learned what can be detected by just a urine test and what can't. He comes out of retirement demanding OST. He needed to get bigger for when he encountered the bigger welters he avoided when he retired. It makes sense. Before you laugh at this, you can't prove I'm wrong can you?? I'm speculating just like the mayweather's are about Manny. Floyd's lovers went from never suspecting Pac of PEDs, to having no doubt. Just because the mayweather's started slinging these baseless insults. Floyd is definitely bigger now. I guarantee he's weighing more on fight night now, than ever before. Remember, there aren't any drug tests while you're retired. Floyd is the "Jose Canseco" of boxing.
ive been reading this thread. and i have one ? why the **** does it matter how much floyd weighs on fight night?? he comes in under the ww limit. thats all that matters. he's nowhere near as big a ww as guys like tommy hearns and leonard. those guys kno boxing and even they said so themselves. so with that said. floyd is filling in to his ww form. good. he stays healthy and he doesnt ballon up in weight. applaud him on his work ethic and stop hating. or at least hate on something thats relevent.

hate giver!!! ur bac man!!! i knew u wldnt leave us 4 too long...
Every time someone wins, "he looks great" or "he looks unbeatable"
I would like to dig up a forgotten saying that everybody must have forgot!
"Consider the opposition"
i just love how floyd fans such as caliloyd & el jesus unequivocally believe their opinions based off no evidence.
eyeball test = exact accurate proven statistical information in the sick demented world of the floyd fanboys.
Oh damn, dontaseme is that you? LOL.....
floyds stronger cuz he's alot bigger. Im guessing 155-160 on fight night.
Watch his fight with corley, he was 145 at fight night. He looks alot bigger now compared to then. His speed has dropped some with his weight going up.
im not the one speculating. That's a time honored tradition of flomos such as yourself.
You guys love to speculate how much money he makes, speculate how he beats every single ATG of past years, speculate how everybody has somehow managed to duck floyd over the years, & speculate how much pac & any boxer who threatens his greatness have no chance to beat him.
First of all, don't come at me with this "you guys do this" shit. Unless you can find one post where I've ever mentioned Mayweather's money do so or shut up with that. I'm talking about weight. If you don't have anything to back your statements, step your game up But don't start changing the topic and lying about something I never said.
wait a second, i thought flomos always yap about how floyd was a small welterweight & he comes in the ring at 147 & during his retirement he never left the gym blah blah blah.....
i mean you guys use the small welterweight excuse to marginalize & excuse big welters like margarito & williams but then he cant make weight vs marquez & refuses to get reweighed on fight night & now you guys got the nerve to defend that?
Not only do you know exactly how much floyd makes, now you know how much he weighs by just looking at him through your television?
does your shameless lies know no boundaries?
no i am a big advocate of Floyd fighting Paul at 147.
I only say this because silly trolls like Pull counter (who is now saying things like Floyd is too big for Pac) and others are trying to imply Floyd is somehow a big welterweight. Who is smaller than Floyd at 147???
- cotto = NO
- Clottey = HELL NO
- Margarito - HELL NO
- Collazo - NO
- Williams - NO
- Berto - NO
- SSM - NO
So how exactly is Floyd a big welterweight?????
Floyd never comes into the fight much more than 4-6 pounds over the limit at any weight he has fought in. At welter all his unoffical weights have been less than 150. He didn't even bother going higher than 150 at the weigh in for the ODLH, which was a t 154.
So when did Floyd become this huge anuimal all of a sudden. He is a mid-sized to small welterweight. ...look at the weigh in.
The biggest i have seen him was against JMM....that is to be expected, he would have really struggled to come down from 165-70 to 47 after a long layoff....and hence ballooned alot after the weigh in.....u think he will be walking around at 170 again, now that he is active.......no.....he won't go much higher than 155-57.

That works both ways, how do you know how much he weighs then? How can you say he is a big WW, weighing more close to 160? You can tell weights by looking through your television?
A big WW is Clottey, Mosley, Cotto, Margarito, PWill. Guys who balloon up a shitload come fight night.
Just because he couldn't make weight against Marquez, doesn't mean anything. He made weight against Mosley, even weighed 1 lb less than the limit. So, it's just more convenient for you to only mention Marquez, huh? Nothing in Floyd's career has ever gave hint to him weighing anything more than his fight weight. He couldn't even make 154 limit against Oscar. Yet, he is supposed to blow up to 160 like big WW's do?
Get real bro.
he was at least 155 against JMM.....that's to be expected.....he would have been wearing 160-170 the whole time he was off.....it's to be expected he would quickly ballooon after not having had to come down to 47 for 2 years....but nothing i saw against Mosley suggested to me he was more than 150 in the rign that night.
I personally don't believe Mayweather has ever weighed in the 160's because he doesn't allow himself to disapate between fights or balloon in weight. The Guy stays in shape.
