I heard an interview and he said that he will be out for about 8 weeks (if I remember correctly) with that bicep injury. However, where does he go next? Who does he fight?
I got a feeling that Berto believes he can beat Floyd the question is just how good of a chin does Berto have. When he got dropped by Cosme Riveria I was worried, but he got it together
His corner cheated after that knockdown. Berto was badly hurt and could barely walk back to his corner. His trainer then ripped the tape on his glove and delayed the start of the following round giving Berto time to recover.
i would like to see him fight sugar shane and if he wins then maybe a shot at floyd :boxing:

You know what, I was thinking this same thing. Maybe Shane should fight again before he fought Berto.
Mosley/Berto would be a good move but 1 thing for sure Mosley better fight within the next 6 months or else he's gonna be in trouble again, as a matter of fact he better be considering all options b/c last time he went on vacation and let that tooth heal it cost him millions, 2years, and now a loss.
collazo moved up to 154. says he cant make 147 anymore
he should fight mike jones and give up the belt
Jones should get the IBF belt before he fought Berto. I don't want people to say, "Who has Jones beaten" once he loses. Berto has a lot of options. Collazo didn't want it, so Mosley and Cotto would be good fights for Berto.
If Pac vs. Floyd can't be made I'd like to see him fight Floyd, but I don't beleive that will ever happen. Floyd goes nowhere near that fight because Berto is young, hungry, talented, and fast with power. That would be a good fight to see if Pac Floyd fall through. I don't ever see it happening though.
Fight Shane if Shane doesn't retire. Still a credible fight for both. I don't wanna see Clottey getting anymore title shots until he does something to redeem himself.
pit him up against a volume punching southpaw that has never been stopped before. He might lose his "0"
Berto's management team really needs to be smart about his next fight. The only thing they should do is put him in the ring with safe opponents that will make him look good. This guy still needs seasoning.
He should rematch Collazo.
He has unfinished business.

I don't think anyone wants to see Clottey in a big fight again after the Pacquaio nonperformance...
That wouldn't be considered a big fight though. Not to mention Clottey would whoop Berto's ass.

wait for pac/gorilla-dog negotiations to fail again because of floyd... pick up the pieces
