Pavz gets beat up badly by Bute. Thats a horrible match up for Pavlik, Bute is like a bigger version of Martinez who hate on punch knockout power. If Pavlik did fight at 168 it would have to be against Froch or Kessler.

Pavlik should make his danm mind up. He either fights at 160 or he doesn't, Sergio aint moving up either. Sergio whooped his ass so he wants to fight again then let's do it at original weight. Pavlik should give up with a rematch imo

Pavlik doesn't really have a weight class. He's too big for 160 and he's not good enough to be a very good fighter at 168. He's stuck in the middle. Martinez would still beat his ass at 164. Martinez is a nightmare for him. Too fast, too slick, good movement, etc.

God damn, man this kid pretty much replaced Jermain Taylor where being a bust is concerned. Why is he asking to fight Martinez at a higher weight? I know Pavlik is heavy right now, but isn't the rematch clause for Middleweight only? Martinez is being really jerked around by this dip shit.

TYPICALLY Bob Arum! he comes up with these catch weights to try and give his fighters an advantage, either he tries to drains them to slow them down or try to make them carry more weight to slow them down nobody wants to see that rematch I didn't see anything in that fight to make me believe that the fight would be any different the second time around Martinez is too slick for Slow, One-Dimensional Kelly Pavlik, just move up to 168 and fight Bute (who would destroy Pavlik worse then Martinez did IMO)

Staphlik is ****ed. He can't fight at middleweight anymore because he can barely make weight, and he sucks at 168. He's like Hatton @ 140, no place to go but down in weight. Let's see Staphlik pull a Paul Williams and drop down to 147. (only kidding.)
