Anyone catch Floyd laughing and smiling in the corner after Round 2.

It's a strange grin really like he was saying something to Shane... ...like he was thinking, "Hit me like that one more time and you will not get paid, grandpa."

The dudes composure is insane. Ellerbe was panicking, Roger was pissed, Sr was yelling..lol. Then you got Floyd just smiling and laughing like "chill I got it" watching the punch on the big screen. When he was smiling and joking, I knew he was either embarrassed and trying to play it off or he had the fight in the bag. But if I knew that Shane wasn't going to land another one of those shots and he had probably missed his chance, then Floyd did too, and I'm going to guess he knew he had that one. Once he knew that Shane's absolute best punch - and that is one of the best shots I've ever seen him land - couldn't one-shot him, he knew he had won.

dawg all it is is because he prolly didnt get a chance to smile when mosley hit him..so there you go.. HAHAA he smiles everytime he gets hit.. even after the first bomb that mosley landed

It was a smile of composure and Relief. He knew he weathered the Mosley Storm and that he could take his shots. Its like taking tynenol, after taking enough of it, your body is immune. The Surprise was over.

it seems like pisces fighters smile when they get hurt badly margarito does the same thing I think its recognition of being bested or tested, finally. Some of these guys probably have a totally different thought process to us, whereas we'd be shocked to be rocked, these guys probably smile out of recognition to the other guy.

He wasn't smiling and happy, he got embarrassed, he wasn't too sure how to react to what happened. The same way Pacquiao looked when Marquez caught him in the second round.

If you look at all floyds fight, he usually smiles when someone lands a good on him.. it really wasnt nothing new..look at the marquez fight.. he smiled almost every time marquez landed a clean punch. good point, as an aside Pacquiao puts his hands in the air and pretends he doesn't feel it

In the 1st 2 rds Floyd stood right in front of Mosley daring him to throw punches, he just didn't expect to actually get hit. Floyd should of thrown his jab and pressed Shane in the early rounds.

If you look at all floyds fight, he usually smiles when someone lands a good on him.. it really wasnt nothing new..look at the marquez fight.. he smiled almost every time marquez landed a clean punch.

I realized one thing during Mayweather-Mosley: Floyd actually loves fighting and being in the ring. I gained a lot of respect for him because of that. He may say he only fights for money but i don't really beleive that. Nobody works as hard as he do just for the $$$. They already saying he back in the gym. His work is what he loves...man i wish job was my love.

Man all that is uncalled for. Ofcourse he was embarssed. He doesnt get hit like that. For him to laugh and smile while watching himself get blasted shows composure most fighters wouldve panicked like Floyds corner did. They all told him to box. Floyd ran out the corner throwing bombs. thats my point the thread is about the smiling in the corner and all that was about was him being embarrassed and nothing more it wasnt a great showing of composure. if you wanted to make a thread about composure you should have posted about how floyd came out fighting in the 3rd and didnt lose a single round from then on out. that in my opinion is when he showed poise and composure. my post wasnt a jab at you im just saying your such a big floyd fan that you do have a bias when it comes to floyd and thats why i think you read a little more into the smiling in the corner then a non biased fan of floyd would.

lol at the caught feelings The not exactly unbiased TS should back up his thread with a youtube vid so we can judge his reaction for ourselves, not all of us are flomos who scrutinize every little detail of Mayweather's facial expressions during the fight. Start of the video.
