The southpaw angles completely eliminate the use of the shoulder roll and Philly shell defense. Against Southpaws, orthodox fighters can't use the roll since the power punches comes from the opposite angle of the roll. Also, it makes Floyd's best punch...the straight-right counter...harder to land...since lefty's usually end up away from the Right-hand of the orthodox fighter. But Pac has been a victim of counter punching his whole career it seems. I'm a huge fan of Manny, but Floyd has just shown everyone exactly how superior his skills are. Floyd never wanted his son to fight Pacquiao coz Floyd ALWAYS has that weird tendancies to brawl with southpaws. Floyd will try to outbrawl Pacquiao and KO him, which could benefit to Pacquiao since Pacquiao is a hard puncher and a brawler himself.

Funny how his three best possible opponents are all southpaws: Pacquiao, Martinez and Williams.

He was KD by Judah and was having trouble with him until Judah did his usual mental breakdown by the 4th round... He was caught and hurt clean by Corley about 4 times in that fight, he was hurt badly too... now imagine if Corley actually had some power in his punches.... This is the real reason they keep making up excuses for the Pac fight falling through. What you dont realise is that it's Floyd who breaks these guys down thru his counters.If you get countered everytime you throw a shot you will eventually run out of ideas just like Judah,Mosley and every one of Floyd's opponents.
