"Looking at the fight itself, it was really not significant at all from a boxing standpoint. Floyd Mayweather, Jr.’s win over an aging veteran is quite expected but is not that great even if many big media entities like ESPN and Yahoo Sports! tried to make a huge deal about it. What many failed to realize was, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. fought a fighter who is not only 38 years old but is also not 100% during the fight."

haha oh man.. so thats the best excuse you can come up with ? you say that mosley took the same tests as may and was much weaker, meanwhile mayweather was not effected at all. what is more you ignore the fact that mosley himself didnt say anything about being weakened by the tests
floyd has been tested 7 times while 8 on mosley, that could be the big difference since that last test that mosley took could be at the day of the fight that really affected mosley.
Why the hell did mosley stop throwing punches after he rocked floyd and almost knock him down, it doesn't make sense. Mosley was severely drained and the blood testing just makes it worst.

you know better than mosley ? did he say anything about being dehydrated or weaker than ussual himself ?

I don't buy the dehydrated excuse. There's a few factors in this fight that made it this loop sides. on is Floyd is really that good. 2nd Mosley hadn't been fighting for over a year.
you could clearly see that mosley after round 2 doesn't have anything left, he's breathing heavily in his mouth and suddenly just stop throwing punches after round 2, it could be that mosley was severely dehydrated. That is not the mosley that fight margarito or cotto.

i dunno if mosley was dehydrated, but its possible
Exactly....I just couldn't see Shane EVER stop tryin....but against Floyd he did and THATS what makes me think SOMETHING was wrong!!....Shane is no quitter, that wasn't Mose my dude!! :nonono:
George Foreman did it against Ali. No way in hell George Foreman gets KO'ed by Ali.
Plus, SHANE MOSLEY WAS URINE TESTED 3 days before the weigh in. Mayweather was not.
Sounds weird...
lol@ a urine test being a part of a conspiracy that caused Shane not to throw punches.....this is how low this place has gotten."Clutching at straws" is the norm here along with denial.
The truth is,the better man won-Mayweather was the reason Shane had no success.Manny will have very little as well...keep coming up with excuses,at least it's getting interesting since it's not believable!
no, you dont know shit. believe me pro boxers know how to train better than you or anyone else. how the **** would a pro boxer with 20 years of experience overtrain ?

Mosley overtrained. Almost 2 months of training for Berto, then a couple of weeks of rest then started training again for Mayweather.

So this is the new excuse on the block. (*In the voice of P-diddy* Thats whats popping in the streets now playboy? )
Dehydrated? ya'll had a full 4 days and this is the best ya'll can come up with. Damn ya'll are falling off. Atleast come up with something more believable like an itchy sock or something.
oh don't worry, i understand you. you've been down under the sink for quite some time now that's why you're having a classic bout of delusion of grandeur by thinking that you belong to some inner clique of elite people in boxing. LOL
"down under the sink"???? Inner clique? No delusions here, I don't need to lie about people I know. You are the one claiming to "know" what Shane's problem was...in reality, maybe the truth is-the better man won.Is that too hard to grasp?
Back to some people I know-you tried saying I must know nothing of boxing, then when I mentioned how I am into the sport you deny it....seems you have a pattern of denial, not me.
The reality is that most fans and almost every boxing writer picked Mayweather to win. A little research will prove this to be true.
Yes,Floyd was favoured-that is not the question, but quite a few people picked Shane to be his biggest threat.
Leading up to the fight a significant amount of people suggested Floyd would get ko'd or beat-not the majority, but a significant amount nonetheless.
I remember hearing things like "Shane is bigger, stronger, etc", "How is Floyd going to handle someone who has the same handspeed",etc....that is a few examples of what some people were saying BEFORE the fight. Now we are hearing the usual predictable excuses ,such as-Shane was old, past it,blood drained, weight drained, dehydrated, etc etc...
Floyd was definitely no underdog, and I knew he would win...the only thing I didn't expect, was for him to fight Shane toe to toe...in fact, there was a discussion here on boxingscene that suggested he may fight this way,and most people said that Floyd would get KO'd if he indeed did fight this way...not ONE person on here thought Floyd would beat him from "pillar to post" the way he did,in the manner he did (toe to toe, instead of being on the backfoot). Most definitely believed it would have been a TOUGH fight...

way to go to the one (who claims to study, live and breathe boxing) but forgot to review his research paper before blurting out some gibberish. write in proper english, mate. LOL
Are you sure YOU know what you are talking about? You cannot even form a single coherent sentence! LMAO
Take some time to let that sink in before replying-I won't hold it against you!

Actually,I know quite a bit about boxing...besides studying boxing, styles, habits, patterns, matches, etc my friends are involved a lot in it (trainers, one worked with Kostya Tszyu).I surround myself with the sport.
I don't need to make excuses for fighters who were in good shape, funny that you do....accept reality. It's even funnier how a significant amount of people thought Shane would win (before you go spouting about Shane being a casino underdog, remember there were a LOT of people with the opinion that Shane will bring down Floyd,ko him, etc).
