Say what you want about him and make every excuse but what if he dominated Pac? That means he wouldve retired for 2 years in his prime and came straight back to beat the top 3 rated fighters in the game. Everyone had Pac, Shane, and JMM rated as the top 3P4P in the game so if Floyd dominated Pac and only loses like a total of 3 rounds against the top 3 guys in boxing then you have to call him easily one of the greatest and give the man his props. Thats impressive, espically considering those 2 years are maybe the best prime years for a fighter
I think he will purposely beat the shit out of Manny for stealing his fighter of the decade award!
Floyd: "Tell everyone who the real fighter of the decade was!"
Manny: "me speakono ingles"
Floyd: "Say it! Say it b!tch! Who was the fighter of the decade?"
(Floyd beats Manny ring post to ring post until he falls into Roach's arms
Manny: (whimpering)"STOP!! STOP!! Me so sorry Floyd, you fighta of decade!"
jesus christ that was racist. :nonono:
c'mon son, we don't sound chinese lol
you think he might say something along that line during the fight though?
in the same fashion he did it against mosley?
if ever he does while dominating pacquiao, i think my mom might cry :(
I guess I wouldnt like Floyd either if he beat my hero up
I'm just being honest, if Floyd had Shane Mosley's conduct, grace and manners he'd get all the credit in the world and would be a global superstar too like Oscar but the guy was never taught how to act in public. He shows no manners, no humility and no class and the perception he creates is that of an insecure braggart, people just aren't going to warm to that. It comes to something if your own people actually want to see you get knocked out. Mayweather (via his public persona at least) is perfect example of how not to be if you want to get on in society with others.
Personally, I don't dislike him, he's just another character in the world of boxing who can be entertaining at times but when people make threads about him not getting credit, the above para is the reason why, not his boxing. The odd thing is, he himself doesn't seem to get that, he actually thinks people should support him regardless of how he acts, life doesn't work like that.
Mayweather will never get credit because he acts like an a-hole.
He can cry about America not standing behind him and supporting him but people are people and nobody wants to support someone who acts like a self-absorbed dickhead.
That's the greatest tragedy as far as Mayweather's concerned, despite all the fame, money and victories, he will never be liked and always be an outcast.

In order for Floyd to get the credit his fans want him to get hes going to have to beat someone hes not supposed to. I dont think anyone can legitimately criticize anything about him beating Martinez and Williams. He also would have gotten more props for beating an undefeated Cotto than hes getting for beating a 38yr old Mosley.
You want him to join the super 6 tomorrow? I mean theres not much more the man can do other than packy, sergio, & pwill... he's a favorite in all 3 of those fights... I mean he would have to move to 168 to be an underdog
The Winner of Pac/May would be hands down the best p4p fighter of this era, and an all time great. I'd give Pacquiao & Roach all the credit for doing something that looks so simple from the outside and has proven to be so hard in the ring, & I'd give Mayweather just as much credit if here were to outbox an offensive powerhouse like Pacquiao.
When Floyd signed to fight zab Judah coming off a loss, he was accused of ducking:
Carlos Baldomir(welterweight champ)
Ricky Hatton(Stopped Kostya tsu)
When Floyd fought Baldomir, Ricky Hatton, and De la Hoya he was accused of ducking:
Margarito
Mosley
Cotto
Now that Floyd beat Mosley, who beat Margarito, who beat Cotto, The new list will be:
Martinez
Paul Williams
Pacquiao
I can predict the commentary if floyd beats those 3:
Paul Williams was ruined by Martinez, he was a walking corpse at 147
Pacquiao was blood-drained, Floyd is picking on the smaller guys
Martinez was 37 years old, Floyd picking on geezers again
IT NEVER ENDS

:lol1: corrected it for you
what is the obsession on here with guys talking about other guys being gay and doing this to someone, sucking this one or that one i mean damn i though a man that straight doesnt visualize that sh*t
I think he will dominate Pac on the scorecards. I expect Pac to make the rounds competitive, but I think Mayweather wins it like 8-4. Id rather see Mayweather at 154 with Martinez and Williams and Pac at 140 with Alexander, Bradley and Khan.
(Juan Manuel Marquez jumps into the ring and taps on Floyds shoulder)
JMM: "Pardona Me el senor Floyd "el dinero" Mayweather, pero puedo terminar a esta ramera pequeña para agacharme?"
HBO Translater: "Pardon me Mr. Floyd "Money" Mayweather, but can I suck your dick because I used to suck his dick."
Floyd: Hellz Yeah boy
(Needless to say JMM finally gets his orgy and sucks the snot out of the mighty pacman)

It's true. NSB is bad for your health.

if floyd dominates pac that would be truly a great win but as far as mosely goes i would say that was a good solid victory but nothing that special and jmm regardless of his p4p position and no matter how you want to slice it was not impressive at all for a top wws resume.
Lol ... you make pac sound like japanese

You know, I don't consider myself a Floyd hater but before the Shane Mosley fight I thought Floyd genuinely thought he was the greatest boxer ever but that money mattered more than anything else so in my opinion he hadn't done enough outside of his home training to prove it to the outside world. If you don't prove it, it may as well not be true, because who knows what else other people know but haven't proved?
Anyway, after the Shane fight I think he's given us enough of a bridge. Floyd mayweather is without a doubt the p4p king. I dont' think he's going to have any problem with Pacquaio, plus pacquiao is the smaller man. From what I hear and read, I think Paul Williams might be a real test. But Floyd is the best boxer of this decade for sure.

why did you say "from what youve heard & read"? Youve never seen Williams fight before?
