Does Floyd Mayweather Jnr really want to clean up the sport of boxing? Or do you think that he is demanding drug testing so he could get a mental edge on Pacquiao?
If Mayweather wanted to clean up the sport, why didn't the whole card have random testing and why just the main event?
Also has Mayweather tried going to the commission and requesting a rule change? If he wants the rules changed, him and Golden Boy could go to the Nevada State Athletic Commission and request it. I found a neat article about something similar happening with Cotto Vs Margarito.

Basically Bob Arum wanted his fighters to fight with 8 ounce gloves as everywhere except Vegas it was 8ounce gloves for welterweight and in Vegas it was 10ounce. Arum got the rules changed so it became standard.
He didn't care when it was only Floyd Snr and Malignaggi...but when it became an event and Mayweather demanded testing, I think he felt it. Shit he accomplished in his career was being bought into question. He didn't handle the drug testing situation very well, but neither did Floyd.
Even then, he still agreed. So it doesn't matter.
He would only go to the NSAC if he knew it would be a problem - these kind of things get negotiated between fighters alone all the time. You're assuming he knew Manny would say no. Anyway, who cares about accusing? Manny didn't care. They accused him long before negotiations and it didn't stop him from sitting at the table to make a fight. So that point is moot. You agreed to the tests, now go all the way, instead of looking shady by wanting no more tests a few weeks out.

so the 8 oz gloves is not a demand from pac afterall like some posters have tried to imply all this time
Yes it was not. Anyone who says Manny demanded it is lying. Heck, Floyd didn't even want 10ounce, I think he added it in just to get some leverage in the negotiations. Like "okay you disagreed to my gloves, so lets agree on this"....I could be wrong though.
How long would that have taken? Think about that.
I don't know, Arum got that shit done before Cotto and Margarito got made? He could still go do it now haha.
Mind games is all it is..that's Mayweather's game plan..I must say that it is doing its job since everyone, every boxing fan in this site (including me) or any other are getting sucked in on it all..hell even Team Pacquiao are getting into it..its unsportsmanship to the extreme to accuse another athlete of drug taking without any proof..but as I said that's Mayweather's game plan..integrity & respect with him means jack..and that makes him different to all other fighters or athletes for that matter
Equally, there should be serious issues with questioning a fighters integrity and accusing him of being on PED's. I think that was low man. If he wanted to clean up the sport, he should have gone to Nevada State Athletic Commission and requested a change...like Arum did with the gloves. That would have gone down better and less accusative than how he handled the situation. But **** it....lets just hope that this fight gets made!!!

I agree with you homie. Did you read the article? Why don't Golden Boy go to Nevada like Bob Arum did? It'd work I think.
because GBP doesn't really care for OST
No question. But no one wants to fight a cheater. There should be no issues with leveling the playing field through better testing. None. At all. Nein. Zilch. Zero. Zip. Nada.

Even if we assume he didn't believe it, he's probably extremely suspicious now.
I feel the same way. That or he now believes Pacquiao has something to hide.
He conducted himself well in that interview, but his post fight interviews are always really good. But I don't know, I still doubt the man actually believes Pacquiao is on PED's....gorilla dog is pretty damn confident in his abilities and he thinks he can beat Pacquiao, PED's or no PED's.

Nah, I think they're dead serious. And I think the post-fight interview last Saturday was probably the best of Floyd's career. He handled the questions and top very well.

They'll say that Shane never tested positive either...I swear they'll do. LOL!
Well that's the point, TS. Floyd wants more stringent testing. What's wrong with that?
I don't know, I reckon him, Roger and Floyd Snr are just having fun and accusing Pacquiao of it to wind him up some more. We know how Floyd toys with wound up fighters when they get into the ring.

and apparently they're working cus Pacquiao is running scared. Outwitted. Checkmate.
what's the point of that? Mind games aren't suppose to stop a fight from happening. sounds like you'd rather floyd win on message boards than actually get in the ring with Pac and fight him.
