Let's presume it will happen at the end of the year. The biggest fight in boxing since God knows when, and then it's finally over. After all the hype and demand, it came, we saw it, it's done. What's next for boxing? Most of boxing's biggest stars have retired or on the verge. All the new comers haven't seemed to catch anyone's imagination the same way as the current vets that are retiring have. Where will boxing go? While not trying to throw MMA into the mix, I think boxing will stay on the low for quite some time until it can build up afew big super stars while not receiving much return on investment until it does.
espn will make sure boxing remains alive. they will give coverage to the next guy that goes up multiple weight classes beating guys.. and then thier will be one guy knocking guys out on the way up.. i have a friend. his name is charles johnson. on facebook his name is yudai johnson. this guy is 5'10 and 125 pounds. and has amazing boxing skills and catlike reflexes. with his height and skill and punch he can move up in weight. difference is he doesnt talk shit like floyd but hes confident in his abilities. and guys like timothy bradley devon alexander andre ward one of those guys will shine later. james kirkland.. etc.. funny how james will be back around the sametime pac mayweather (might) fight
lets not forget about omar henry hes 9 and 0 still new but hes moving up quick,i think we will here about this dude for a long time u watch.i think hes a very good fighter very dedicated to his work and he will only get better.
Who do you guys honestly see coming up that has the mental toughness to become legendary status? Who has the will to keep training just as hard after many huge paychecks as he had with his first big paycheck? Honestly, so many new kids are in it just for that 1 big paycheck win or lose. After that, they out. It takes people around you to give you the reason to keep doing it as if it's your first. A reason to continue training hard everyday no matter what. I don't know how many up coming fighters have that.
Floyd Diaz and Lakai Mayweather. Ofcourse.
Hopefully some filipino kid too so we can keep boxingscene.com alive in 2030.
Seriously tho, its not looking that great. I dont see anyone being that crossover success that will pull the casual fans in.

what always happens when the sports superstars retire, Boxing goes into a sort of coma like status and when the new stars emerge(and theres a shit load of canidates) they will wake up boxing from its "coma", ive seen it happen since ever hehe, Boxing will never die.
yeah kinda like when Jordan retired the first time... Shaq emerged then Kobe arrived

After May vs Pac Manny will retire and boxingscene will suddenly have lost 30% of its traffic when all these new "boxingfans" go back to whatever they did before Pacmania started.
Floyd vs. Khan in the UK. The next mega fight.
So if Fraud can't handle Pac, he has to pick on his sparring partners? :D That does sound like a Fraud move actually!
