If Floyd makes Martinez look stupid in the ring what will you say??

I wouldn't need to say anything because all the people I argued with about Floyd on here deep down would know I was right so there would be no need to really talk about it more. I don't know if he can do that to Martinez or not though.

Martinez is a southpaw, he's bigger, he's fast, and he has an unconventional style. The fight would also be at 154 at least, and Martinez would have the big edge. Mayweather would not make Martinez look stupid, but if he somehow did, there's nothing to say he is just f***ing out of this world. True that, if it happens it'd be a statement as big as Adamek manhandling Wladimir Klitschko.

There would definitely be some criticism from the less knowledgeable posters on the board, but Sergio would be one of the few fighters Floyd has fought recently that there was NO legitimate excuses. Mosley WAS 38 coming off a long layoff, Marquez WAS too small, slow, old etc, Hatton WAS a limited fighter above his best weight, DLH was a good win, Baldomir(who?), Judah is one of the biggest underachievers in boxing(he lost to Baldomir),Sharmba was decent but past prime, Gatti didnt have enough skill share the ring with a fighter as good as Floyd, etc etc etc. Floyd fans like to point out he gets hated on as do his choice of opponents, but I personally cant give him the full credit his talent deserves until I have at least some doubts about the outcome of the fight before it happens. Hes held to a higher standard because great fighters should be held to a higher standard than everyone else.

If he beats Martínez I'll walk naked down the street holding a sign saying "Floyd owns my ass". Sig it up. If the fight is made, it will happen.

I cant imagine Floyd making Sergio look stupid. I think he might be able to beat Martinez, but I also think thats the hardest fight out there for Floyd right now. Its hard for me to give Floyd too much credit for his previous fights because I never felt his opponents stood a chance going into the fight, but Sergio is a whole different matter. If Floyd beats Martinez there can be NO excuses Floyd deserves all the credit in the world.

Would never happen. Martinez is not a shot Mosley who quit after 3 rounds. If by some unbelievable feat of greatness it did happen, I'd be like "damn"!! Mosley quit after 3. De La Hoya quit throwing his jab. Joe Cortez won the Hatton fight for Floyd. Marquez was fat, undersized and just a shell of the fighter Pac fought. Carlos Baldomir was a bum that Mayweather couldn't even KO. Zab Judah quit after five rounds. Arturo Gatti was shot to shit. Diego Corrales was emaciated, plus he was going to prison. Genaro Hernandez was old and past prime (although he never lost a fight at 130 till Floyd beat him). The list goes on and on and on... I can't wait to read the excuse for Manny Pac after Floyd beheads him. "Pac was blood drained and that is why he quit fighting after two rounds with Mayweather". I would be surprised but not shocked. I think Floyd has a much better chance of making Pacquiao look stupid in the ring. Martinez is a way better boxer than Manny. I question whether he is on Floyd's level. So what if he made Pavlik look stupid? Floyd would make the much bigger Pavlik look stupid as well. BHOP commented on terrible Pavlik's foot movement is. Anybody with decent boxing skills would obliterate Pavlik.
