Point blank....
Floyd and Manny are just on a different level right now.
Floyd with his superb defensive skills and counter-punching.....Manny with his offensive output and stamina.
Cotto was and still could be elite....Mosley is definately still at an elite level....
just both looked "ordinary" by Floyd and Manny....
No more excuses from either side......either take the tests, or stop the demand for it...guaranteed $50 mil for BOTH fighters at least....
P.S - Great fight on Saturday...people that say "boring"...GTFOH...Floyd has won me back over...he has FINALLY backed up all the talk, no excuses.
:hail: :boxing:
both atg, whatever number or rank we can only say from opinion never from fact, but both are yet to fight on and only when both have retired can we say reasonably.
their wins and performances against top oposition matters most, and ho many top guys they took on and ho they delt with them matters.
both styles are to be admired a lot.
Yin and Yang....Chaos and Order....Salt n Pepper.....Ketchup and Mustard....

I got to admit I almost became a Mayweather fan after he beat up Mosley, if Flyod beats up Martinez, Williams, even Pac. I can see him getting more fans.
Beating Martinez and Williams is icing on the cake......Pac is the catalyst to (vice versa) to becoming talked about in the same breath as Ali, SRR, etc....
Bro....I made this same point several times in the past and got flamed. I have said this several times in defense of Hatton, Cotto and others.
Basically is like this, in basketball, just because you get dominated by Jordan, that doesn't mean you aren't an elite player. Just because you get blew out the water by a guy like Tiger woods in golf, Usain Bolt in Track etc...doesn't mean your not good. If anything it's just a testimate to their greatness and not a knock on their competition.
With that said, I been stating that Floyd and Pac are just a cut above everyone else and it's no shame in losing to either. To say someone is trash because they lose to either is fukkin retarded and this sh1t (trashing guys after bad performances) is only in boxing. You don't hear this garbage in other sports.
Read you loud and clear O....there have been countless other threads created regarding the exact same thing over and over again (myself included)...unfortunately sometimes certain events have to happen and people just have to see it for themselves....like the saying goes..."That's why they fight the fight"....
This is a great point.
Why is it that anyone who fights Floyd or Manny is immediately considered crappy once they lose?
True true..
Mayweather and Pac are just that good and they need to fight..

both have already proved their greatness as fighters like years ago...only the blind fanatics will refuse to give them credit. unfortunately some of them are just too thick they even brought their obssession to their idol to this thread. guys like yesir and jakutindi whatever...well, it's not like you really can expect something sensible from them.
:dunce::dunce::dunce: is what they really are....

I'll have to disagree...Floyd showed he has a great chin...not granite like Manny's...but definately above avg.....
Neither special nor weak... just an average chin. Floyd's been rocked before. A knockout by Manny is definitely possible if he can regularly get passed Floyd's defense but that is another issue.
I'm a huge Pacquiao fan but even I concede that Mayweather will likely have the edge should their super match come to fruition. After Pacquiao demolished Cotto, the odds for Pacquiao-Mayweather in my view were 50-50. After Saturday night I have to give a 60-40 edge to Mayweather. Manny has a chance to obliterate Floyd's mediocre chin but he'll have to go through hell just to land shots. I don't see Floyd KO'ing Manny with his iron chin, though.

Agreed mate...both are very talented...cant wait till they fight since their in talks and pac has accepted the 14 day window deal
Hopefully Pacquiao budges on that....he no longer holds any negotiation "Ace Up His Sleeve" power...he must either concede to the OST...or just fight someone else to one up Floyd...(P-Willy?) :boxing:

amen! both are simply a cut above the rest, i surely hope this fight would happen soon and yes, whoever wins or loses, they should be both given mad props for their accomplishments and for giving us boxing fans great matches :)
Hallelujah holla back!
If only everyone shared this point of view....its not too late though.
