It looks that way to me. In the post fight interview with Merchant everyone was applauding and cheering when he said Manny should just take the tests. Also in the post press conference everyone was clapping when he mentioned it again. Public opinion is turning against Pacman and he's looking guiltier by the day especially when Mayweather himself will take the SAME tests. He's not asking Manny do to something that he won't do himself. Mosley also did it with no problem and he was an ex steroid user. So how does that make Manny look right now??
it may seem that way...but is it really? its just like because of timing.
after the clottey fight...everyone was like omg bring on mayweather..mayweather wants no part of this...after that 12 rounds of 4 million punches... blah blah...
and now that mayweather is done his clinic.....its the same for him....they were essentially the same fight..both clinics....may's was a lil more exciting cause of mosely, and who money may is as a character....as expected...
but its top rank who decided to fight ninja turtle and keeping that same date....and may had a later date so of course may would have the "upperhand" since he was later and fighting a bigger name
Manny boxed himself in nicely. I know he is kicking himself he didn't take 50/50 and 14 days when he had the chance. They are all multi millionaire's. I probably think we're more bothered about the fight than the fighters are
Floyd can fight anyone and get $25-30 million per fight including PPV and Gate revenue along with promoter earnings because he has became a bigger draw than he already was after wins over P4P #2 and P4P #3 in dominating fashion. He made 30 mill against Marquez and will likely make more than 40 mill against Mosley, he doesn't need to fight Pacquiao for the "Money"...Pacquiao on the other hand can fight another Clottey type and make a 8 million guarantee, but he wont get the type of payday he could against Mayweather. Floyd has the upper hand in negotiations now, you will see that when the PPV Buys are out for Mayweather-Mosley...it will do much more than Pacquiao-Cotto.
Yes the same Cotto who is a bigger draw than Mosley and has a large fan base...It's about legacy, my friend. Beating a shot, over the hill, mug like mosley did nothing to secure that. Even RICKY HATTON did better against mayweather. Now that's bad!!!
Yes, the same exact crowd that was chanting "Mosely, Mosely, Mosely" last night, was the same crowd that sided with Floyd's stance on the testing.
At times, yes.I thought the crowd was in Mayweather's favour for the most part.He seemed to get the biggest cheer when they were entering the ring.
Funny how Roach cares about NSAC rules when it comes to drugs, but when it comes to weight divisions, he can impose his own rules- even when challenging for titles, no less. How exactly does weight draining opponents help the sport as a whole?
I agree that Manny should take the tests. But didn't he and/or his people i.e. Roach say he would if it was the NSAC who ordered the tests, rather than it be a contractual condition imposed by Mayweather?
Man, what a great fukking video from Blood! I absolutely agree with him 300% that Manny has to take the tests! Keep in mind that while Blood respected Floyd's skills, he hated Floyd with a passion and now he recognizes him as the #1 P4P.
Come on, Manny! Stop being a bitch and take the goddamn tests!
blood got all emotional when pac beat cotto.
i thought he was about to cry. :lol1:
floyd just came off a dominating victory so the attitudes of the people there would be skewed a little bit. at the end of the day floyd has to compromise.
LOL , Manny is the one that has to compromise son ,,, even the Commission is looking seriously at implementing OST blood testing ,,, the public is absolutely on Floyds side in this just like people told you in the beginning , PEDS in sport is a big NO NO ,,, in world opinion its dirty dirty pool that every man and his dog wants to be stamped out of sport , do you understand that ? ,, Manny will take the tests he has too , only a underaged Pactard will think other wise .

floyd can compromise or kiss the pay day good bye.

Manny is the one out of pocket.........if this PPV does 2 million or more floyd will make $50 mil..........what did Pac make against cotto and Clottey.
.....and he has to accept 40% now. He cost himself 10% of the biggest purse in boxing history (should the fight occur)

based on what exactly?
why should the pressure be on pac?
why does someone who has never had any history of using PED's agree to something not required by any commission?
the pressure should be on NSAC to implement better testing for all their sanctioned fights
i can agree with this. and i hope they do so that this fight will happen.
I'm fine with this thought as well. I think Pacquiao is a squeaky clean fighter. If NSAC improves their testing and both camps agree upon it, I'm all for it.
But if convincing him to take the tests without cutoffs is what will make the fight happen, then I don't mind them pressuring him either.
you're fine with manny bending over and taking the tests proposed by his opponent and not any sanctioning bodies.
im not sure manny is...
the fairest way to go through this is if GBP and floyd ask for better testing from NSAC. if NSAC says yes, then manny should agree. if NSAC feels it is unnecessary, then floyd should drop it.
manny already said he is willing to go though the test if it was ordered by the commission.
we got a fight. problem solved.

Yes they do. That's the beauty of ESPN, and the American public isn't too fond of cheaters.
most of the public don't even believe pac is cheating. and no they don't care about the drug testing for this fight. and ESPN has hardly even put any coverage on it other than stating the obvious that floyd wants blood testing but pac doesn't. espn too far up lebron's ass to care.
