If Cotto gets by Foreman, its the most logical fight for both. Berto proved that he is elite last month, and Cotto wants a good fight after Foreman. If Berto wins, he should fight Floyd next. His resume would be strong enough and the public would be familiar with him. And if Cotto wins, I'm sure there will be opportunities available for him too. I would not wanna see him fight Floyd or Manny again though. Maybe Cintron? That would be huge in Puerto Rico.

Where is the misconception that Berto is a good fighter coming from? He's a decent WW. A physically big fighter with amazing handspeed, good power and a deadly uppercut. However I will admit that he loads up too much and he can't box for s**t. But he's still pretty young. It isn't too late for him to learn. He needs to work on his boxing skills, reflexes and defense. If he does that then I'd give him a decent shot against Cotto and Clottey.

Hes too strong and too fast for Cotto. Bertos best punch is Cottos worst nightmare. The uppercut. Cotto is way stronger than Berto. Berto's chin is as good as Khan. He gets rock in every fight. Cotto pounds him to the body and stops him mid to late rounds
