...When Floyd is 38 years old as Mosely is and if he is still fighting and gets dominated, they'll use the old "well he's over the hill and washed up" line, even though they'll argue until the day they die that Shane was still basically as good as he ever was...LOL!
SOME Floyd fans are so funny, I can't wait until Floyd get's KTFO once he gets a little older, and i'll bet it happens eventually as the man is an obvious idiot when it comes to financial planning.
It reminds me of the RJJ haters, they waited long enough to see Roy get waxed, and Floyd's turn will come soon enough.
You can sometimes just tell when an egomaniac who can't take care of his cash properly like Floyd comes along that he will fight to long and get waxed eventually for it....the day is coming, he isn't getting any younger Floyd fans.
I'd say maybw not the day befor or on fight day, but a few days before for a blood test should give enough recovery time. I've given blood and seen people pass out while and afterwards, and they aren't trying to make weight for a fight either, so a few days is a good idea IMO. I think 5-7 days is plenty enough recovery time for such a simple test, both fighters need to man up and stop with all the excuses!
It's the article where Pac accepts the 24 day window, at the end of said article Floyd now states that isn't good enough, neither is the 14 day window, he wants testing right up until fight time.
That screams of a guy that wants to avoid a fight, he keeps changing his own damned mind, and i'm sick of it from BOTH of them now. More so from Floyd, he keeps running his gums, then retracting from previous statements, sounds like a little girl these days for Christ's sakes!
ill agree that if floyd doesn't eventually agree to 14 day cutoff again he is in the wrong. but i still think pac should take the tests up to a day before the fight honestly. really, there is no possible way that the amount of blood is drawn could affect him for more than a day.

I believe it is in one of the articles on this sites front news page, he wants random drug testing and no time limits whatsoever now.
I agree 100%, if Pac can't recharge his blood system sufficiently within a 2 week period, he is just full of crap, that is plenty of time to regain anything he may lose due to a blood test,it's not like they are taking a massive amount of blood out of him on fight day or something! I am so sick of both of their antics, just get it done already and give the fans the best possible fight out there right now already, stop being a couple of bitches!
Sorry to up your excitement, I am wrong. I thought Floyd was O.K. with the 24 day thing, but he stuck on the 14 day thing, and now he is saying even that is out the window now.
Why does he care is my question, do the 14 day test (i'm sure for such a huge payday Pac will come down a mere 10 days from his 24 days position). AND they should also agree to a post fight test as well, that way if there was any cheating it will be exposed and the cheat will be disgraced if it were to be so.
It just sounds like games on both parties, but Floyd said 14 days, now he says even that isn't good enough now that he has some fresh green in his pockets. If it was fine before and a deal maker, then why is it now not acceptable, I mean at least stick with what you stated previously, otherwise it sounds like he doesn't want top fight.
I know Floyd is a GREAT fighter, but ONLY Pac is still in his prime and he is the ONLY fighter that will solidify Floyd's place as an all time great without question if he were to beat Pac. Him seemingly refusing to do so makes him look like he is only interested in picking safe opponents to me.
yeah i hope he keeps the 14 day window as an option for pac. that would put every bit of the pressure on pac to make the decision IMO. After seeing mayweather and mosley go through it completely if he still cant do it with a 14 day window, then the fight not happening is completely his fault i think. where did mayweather say the 14 day window is out of the question though?

Are you kidding me, he is P4P #3 at age 38, after beating a limited brawler who had his illegal tactics exposed, and was coming off of a 1.5 year layoff???? Come on man, no way in hell is Mosely today a 3rd ranked P4P fighter under those criteria and you and I both know it!
As for the toughest opponent, i'll give you that much, but Floyd made the Pac fight fall through IMO. Either way, by the looks of things, we'll be seeing that mega fight after it looks as though Pac will be accepting Floyd's testing terms after all.
Congrat's to you by the way, you are the first Floyd supporter i have dealt with that didn't come off as a moron, throwing B.S. around.
WHATTTT?!?! provide article ASAP!!!! IF THIS IS TRUE YOU JUST MADE MY WEEK!!!

Come on Floyd fans, I have yet to hear any of you answer the question as to how Mosely is still as good as ever based on the win against Marquez and the flaws that i exposed about the win against Marquez, seeing as that win is what the vast majority of Floyd fans base why Shane is still as good as ever on.
maybe shane isn't as good as he's ever been...but he's still p4p #3 in the world when the fight happened. and seeing as how the negotiations for the fight with the p4p #1 guy fell through...this was the next toughest possible opponent.

Man you fools come out of the woodwork don't you...LMFAO?
I knew what was going to happen, i'm not stupid. Mosely comes off a win over a guy who trades taking 3-4 punches to deliver his one, and was exposed for the first time for illegal wraps to boot and I'm supposed to think Mosely was back as good as ever was...HEEELLLL NOOOOO...LOL!!!
Let's not forget Shane's win over said exposed cheater was also around 1.5 years ago, and you have an old fighter coming off a long layoff fighting either the best or at worst the second best fighter in the game. As I said, i'm not stupid, I was pretty sure whom the winner would be...LOL!
If Floyd had lost the fight against Shane, i'd have been shocked as hell! I was actually surprised that Floyd seemed to get rocked early on to be totally honest.
Man, when people who aren't Floyd balllickers present opinions that don't paint him in a positive light, why do his fans come running to his defense and throw stupid and unsubstantiated allegations towards such a poster on these boards? t's quite funny to see the B.S. statements made already about how and what you Floyd lovers think I was thinking/hoping/wishing for though, it just shows how silly you all really are!
What a pathetic thread...im sure you were not screaming about the age when the fight was signed...
i bet you were sitting on your coach leading up to the fight talkin smack about how bad Floyd would be exposed....
i bet when Shane landed the flush shots in the 2nd you were bouncing around like Christmas morning screaming about how much better Shane was than Floyd...how Floyd was gonna get KTFO....
and then....
whoops...
your comparison makes no sense and only a PBF hater would see the logic in it...PBF fans are saying Shane is a great fighter because he is...Shane is coming off a DOMINANT performance over the guy every felt was the most feared fighter in the game...
the problem with your comparison is that you haters were saying Shane would win because he was so much better, faster, stronger than Floyd...now YOU are saying he was old...not Floyd fans...we are respecting Shane for what he has done, and what he will still do in the ring as a great fighter that would still beat 99% of Welters out there...
you're just too blinded by pure hatred to see it...sad really...
EXACTLY, he cares about money as his number one objective, and he'll need to keep fighting in order to continue living the lifestyle he has become accustomed to. Lets be honest here, he isn't exactly frugal in his spending habits is he now? Why is he back fighting, do you really think he'd be back if he still had a huge bank account? The man can't help but spend like an idiot, it'll lure him into the ring until he's a few years older, bank on that man!
His health is another reason he'llkeep fighting for a few more years, he doesn't get hit a lot....YET, but once his best before date expires, it'll happen al at once, I justn hope he is smarter than I give him credit for and he either retires before it happens,or right after it happens as i don't ever enjoy seeing a great fighter take a beating and look like a shell of their former self, whether i like them or not!

.
He wont fight past 35...
Floyd cares about 3 things:
1. Money
2. His Health
3. The golden egg on the right side of his record.
No where on that list is legacy or title belts. He'll most likely face Pacquiao, then 2 easy paydays and retire.
I don't call any fighters cowards, they are in no way cowards if they are willing to step into that ring IMO.
Shane's best performance was when he beat Oscar the first fight, NOT beating a guy who trades getting hit three times in order to get one of his own punches in. AND as I recall it was the first time he had the illegal wraps thing exposed as well, so he wasn't the exact same hard puncher he was previous to fighting Shane. Stop trying to prop up Mosely's win over Margarito to make him look like he was still as good a fighter as he ever was just to make your boy Floyd look better. We true fans see the Mosely win for what it was...ANOTHER legendary name on Floyd's resume who was well past his best fighting days when Floyd beat him.
I'll bet you Floyd will be fighting for at least another 3-4 years, the man isn't exactly good at watching his funds you know...LOL! He is going to need the paydays.

Shane's best performance was in his last fight against Margarito.
Different fighters age differently. Shane has aged very well, like Hopkins did and like many other fighters did not.
Guaranteed you were not bitching about Mosley's age when you were calling Floyd a coward for not fighting him.
That is, if you were a boxing fan then...
I am in now way a Pac fan, don't know where that came from.
Big fights Floyd has won...yeah but only against guys who are past their primes maybe. If he beats Pac, it'll be his FIRST impressive win over a top name fighter who isn't past his prime IMO!
What excuses, is Floyd in his late 30's and about to fight...don't think so bro.
Trust me, he'll still be fighting when he's past his best, he'll be fighting when he is 36-38 I bet, and at that point he will be beaten decisively. The whole point to this thread is that many Floyd fans are hypocrites for saying Shane is as good today as he was while in his prime, yet I am willing to bet if Floyd gets beat when he is past his prime, they will go to the "he's past his prime" card. i thought that i made that pretty clear, but I see that many Floyd fans are about as educated as he is and comprehension is not their strong suit!
