almost dropped Floyd. Shane never really hurt Miguel. Manny HURT Miguel...
See where this is going?
Chop chop and that 1st guy to drop cotto )Iforgot his name) also hurt cotto, what's yopur point. Shane couldn't stop the on-sluaght. His lost the fight. Manny may have better chances but if he defense still sucks by the time this fight happens I see him losing a descision.
There were times where Cotto felt Shane's power TS go rewatch the fight especially round 10 I believe it was when Shane hit him with an right sending Cotto to the ropes and the ref stepped it to suddenly request a stoppage in time to clean up water giving Cotto time to recover. Cotto would then go on to get a nice hometown decision in some people eyes. Cotto won a close decision that some had him losing while Mayweather completely dominated Mosley so what is TS point. Cotto has been hurt in a lot more fights to lesser punchers than Floyd so I think this is a bad comparison IMO.
EDIT: Didn't read any of the posts and am now seeing that someone already posted round 10 of Cotto-Mosley
Mosley wasn't the same fighter that fought Cotto either, yet he still hurt Floyd.
Goes both ways. :boxing:
Never said he was...because Shane hurt Floyd doesn't mean Pacquiao will...
Because fighter A hurts fighter B doesn't mean the same will happen to C if he fights A...even if he lost to B...
Only way I see Pac even stunning Floyd is catching him with something he doesn't see...and it will take a good barrage of punches to put Floyd down...his legs were wobbled but he never lost focus...
Cotto wasn't the same fighter against Pacquiao as he was against Mosley...although he was still a very good fighter...

I disagree. I really didn't know how Mosley took all those shots. Mosley really should have been atleast knocked down once with all the shots he took. He has a great chin.
In terms of chin Mosley>Cotto>Mayweather
Mayweather was really clever in holding on to Mosley after the shots. He was really hurt and he got some time from the holding otherwise I think one more shot and he was gone.

Yes. Cotto has a better chin than Floyd. But Floyd is way harder to hit. That must be why Floyd is so defensive.

punch resistance decrease with time, look at all the shots cotto took between his fight with mosley and pacquiao. they had an effect on him, the beatdown he took from margarito alone was enough to ruin most fighters, and cotto hasnt been the same since.
floyd took judahs best shot, he was momentarily stunned (shane momentarily stunned cotto too) but not badly hurt. meanwhile judah badly hurt cotto and almost dropped him.
triangle theories dont work.. when will u kids learn? :nonono:

Didnt you post this?
How you might ask... Well for one, Shane hits harder, a lot harder. He can also match speed with Floyd. He may be on par in terms of boxing skill, especially with having Brother Nazim working with him for this training camp. And he takes one hellava shot; Shane's got a great chin.
With that said, I see Shane walking through Floyd's pot shots and basically firing his POWER shots at will. Shane's good beard will allow him to be successful with is power boxing style.
Now many of you will say "but Cotto outboxed Shane". Floyd can't bang like Cotto. Cotto's power kept Shane at bay during the first part of that fight. Floyd's pillow punches won't harm Shane and once Shane is aware of that, it's gonna be rough for little Floyd. He's gonna get man-handled, roughed up and hurt.
Shane, by late round One Hitter Quiter.
