After watching Pacquiao and Clottey than Mayweather and Mosley...both fights seemed fixed. After Shane hurt Mayweather in the 2nd round it's like someone whispered in his ear "Hmmm your not suppose to win" after the 2nd round Mosley never threw any punching with intentions. I think the public is playing into this masterful plan created by Arum and GBP to set up the biggest Mega fight ever between Pacquiao and Mayweather. And yes I paid for both fights...I feel cheated. Your thought?
Mayweather just adjusted his defense. Mosley spent the rest of the night trying to take Mayweathers head off and ended up not throwing anything. Mayweather gets his props for beating Mosley. Mosley just blew his load too early and was trying to be the first to KO Mayweather and wasnt worrying about trying to actually beat him. Wrong fight plan.
you can't deny Floyd put more distance between them after R.2, he stood back and picked him off for a few rounds rather than blindly walking forward like he did in the first two
fair call i guess....but he was walking him down the whole way........especially late.....u know he has that minset when the ref breaks them and he is already pushing forward against the ref off the break.....same as he did vs judah
As always you are off base. At what point was this outside.....floyd had shane backing off....he walked him down the entire fight

umm noo, any real boxing fan knew clottey dont throw punches and would lose a wide decision. after shane wobbled money he got right hand happy and tried to bully which was a big mistake. floyd basically adapted and controlled the rest of the fight. stop with these weak ass conspiracy theories.
The exact opposite went through my mind in the second round.
I thought Mayweather's tactics were suicidal, the habitual runner appeared to be walking right towards a fresh and more powerful Mosley and Shane was just taking him apart with bombs. Part of me couldn't believe Mayweather could be so stupid so the thought did pass through my mind that Floyd had bet big on his own defeat, he is a gambler after all.
Turned out it was b/s tho, he went back to fighting on the outside and coasted home.
Clottey just couldn't get his punches off, Pac was relentless.

I notice it too man, If your open minded something fishy about both fights.
my thought is your an idiot who doesnt know first thing about boxing.
clottey doesnt have any heart, never have never will. pacs speed allowed him to hit clottey whenever he opened up, and once clottey felt his power he got scared shitless. he just had a retarded gameplan of trying to take away pacs speed by keeping his hands up and stand right in front of him, he isnt a top fighter and could never hang with a top fighter. once he discovered how fast and strong pac was he gave up and just tried to survive.
floyd outsmarted shane from the second round on, he made adjustments and didnt allow shane to get off. someone who doesnt know the art of boxing cant recognize what floyd did thats why u think mosley didnt try hard enough. he was trying he just fought a fighter way too skilled and way too smart, the speed gave shane fits too since hes used to being the faster guy.
shane is proud warrior, he would never take a dive. with the money hes made why should he? shane is a multi millionaire, why jeopordize his all time status for money?
and why pay clottey at all? pac could whupp him any day of the week, twice on sunday. i mean seriously clottey isnt on the level beneath the level of pac, he never had a chance to be competetive.
Wow what was I thinking....boxing not corrupt sport, good think people don't bet money on fights. :stooges:

I think FMJ and Pac are just so great that they dominate their opponents so badly and make their opponents look like they aren't trying. Some people just don't understand that with the Pac vs. Clottey fight.
Both Manny and Floyd's styles were just too much too handle for both Mosley and Clottey.
Clottey felt Manny's power and stayed covered up for the most part and Mosley couldn't get his timing down after the 2nd round. The only thing this did was have fans anticipate the manny-floyd megafight even more. Now it's up to them to actually agree to terms and get it done with. Put rematch clauses in there as well so we can get a historical trilogy
I agree with this
Man shane got his @ss beat plain and simple. Some people would look for any reason to discredit floyd. He was hurt and he came back. That's what great fighters do. Stop with these crazy theories. The fight wasn't thrown. Its funny because it is the same people saying there is no proof pac is using but will come with these theories about may. V. mosley
Because they do not want to believe floyd is that good. Well he is that good.
I don't konw but that's EXACTLY what I though from Round 2 and onwards. I think Golden Boy cherry picked the right people to judge, ones they'd be able to manipulate easily, since the entire business is run by Floyd and his streak. I have a disgusting feeling that if Pacquiao fought Floyd, he'd get robbed, simply to keep Floyd undefeated and help Golden Boy get that paper.

Exactly, h seemed like a completely different guy after the 2nd. Mosley was dominating Floyd in the first 2rds and I thought he was going to KO him within another rd or so. After that, Mosley did little to nothing and stood there with poor head movement and zero pressure. He could have tied Floyd up to stifle the speed but he was like a sitting duck, playing right into Floyd's hands.

Floyd used the left jab to stop Shane's right hand. Shane was telegraphing the over hand right by using the pity pat jab to disguise it. As Shane threw a couple of the pity pats Floyd would disrupt him by utilizing the left jab to make Shane reset. Notice when Shane used an authoritative jab he was able to land the over hand right; Floyd began to jab more in round three and took Shane's right hand away from him. Anyone with some type of Boxing IQ can see this.
Shane was trying to knockout PBF the rest of the fight after he first hurt PBF. And that was exactly the problem, he was looking for the next big punch that wasnt going to happen as Nazim said.
I liked the way he was going body, body, head the first two rounds, after that big right hand he landed he threw his game plan completely out of the window.
