this is not a to discredit Floyd's big win, he was amazing last night he was so sharp and accurate and he also surprised me with his aggressiveness. Floyd was a straight up beast. But seeing mosley catching his breath around the 4th round without throwing alot of punches other than the 2nd round barrage was kinda shocking. I mean here is a guy who was training since december for supposedly fight against berto on january but shows up and is already huffing and puffing by the 4th round?

cause he is past his prime
that was a shot mosley or the testing weakened him. how can an athlete gas out with 4 round and floyd wasn't even doing shit.
Very clear to me from the get go that Shane was incredibly tense. Nervous tension will shut a fighter down and exhaust him as bad or worse as fully exerting himself. Shane had many opportunities to attack, but just wouldn't (couldn't) take them. He did not handle the moment well at all. Floyd Sr. was spot on when he said Shane would could come out jittery. I don't think Shane is shot, and I don't think his performance was a result of him being old. He was way too psyched up for this fight. He said that he felt so tight and it showed in every round (including the 2nd). I was really pulling for Shane, but he was just not prepared mentally. I honestly thought it would be Floyd, if anyone, who would be nervous because I thought he feared Shane deep down, but I was completely wrong. I won't be upset if Shane retires, but I believe he could still handle 2nd tier guys like Andre Berto.
come on dude thats amateur shit. look how much experience mosley has got that is not an excuse. mosley was clearly past prime or drained.
Okay. You obviously have your mind made up. Even Mosley said so himself that he was tight.
Like I said. I think he came out tight and it made him more tired. If you ever sparred before you would know if you fought on emotion you would tire out faster than if you fought more relaxed.

come on dude he was tired straight after his dominating 2nd round. the 3rd round he wasn't even getting hit yet he threw nothing. that was the time to press the fight, but he looked exhausted. the only conclusion is age or the testing affected him, because no elite boxer tires after 3 without getting hit.

when you are tight and not relaxed, you get tired much easier and quicker. mosley was tight the entire fight.
This
Mosley said it himself in the post-fight Interview
Actually you are wrong. Go through my post history. I said Shane would get dominated by Floyd. The way to beat Floyd is with stamina and a jab. Shane has neither. This has always been my prediction. Sorry bub, but you are resorting to childish tactics by attacking me instead of my argument.
first off if you had Floyd winning I apologize...
it doesn't change the fact though that A LOT of experts said this would finally be the guy to do it...the PBF haters coming out of the woodwork saying Floyd would be exposed...yadda yadda...Shane is too strong, too fast, too good....
and what happened??
He was frustrated. And I think the counters made him think twice. I think him being so cautious of the counters eventually tired him out since he was fighting so tight

after the second round mosley had the chance to go for the win but he didn't do shit, like he was tired, dont give me that floyd adjusted he wasn't doing shit neither. mosley is shot and the testing clearly affected him.
He is old and hadn't been in the ring in 18 months. He wasn't closing his fist. His punches had no snap and this was very early in the fight. Like you said about the 4th round. Mayweather fans will tell you it was the body punching but the 1st round nobody landed, second round Mayweather was running away and holding, third round he was getting his sense back but was still timid. So when did he land the body shots that gassed Shane in the 4th? Mosley is just way past it.
Prime shane wouldn't have won that fight. We u in there fighting, missing punches and getting hit, frustration wears u down. I think he did the best he could do, and he hit floyd with his bread and butter punch. I posted here last week, Shane Mosley has one of the best over hand rights ever, its fast strong and accurate. Floyd weathered the storm and beat mosley on every level. Great toe to toe fight. You say anything different, you don't love the sport.
Well he was buying every Floyd feint in there. And he was thinking way too much which created nervous energy which can take something out of you.
Just because they are breathing hard doesn't mean they are gassed. Gassed means you have nothing left like Berto at times in the Collazo fight. He was well conditioned in this fight. It's just that fighting Mayweather is tough task. And his shots do take something out of you. There is a reason why fighters tend to get weaker towards the end of the fight against him.
Shane was doing this when he was 28. In the first Oscar fight he slowed a ton from round 2-6. Against Cotto it was the same thing. Actually, most of his fights he looks sort of gassed in those early to mid rounds. But he has always closed strong. Not so last night.
all that jittery unnecasary movement gassed himself out
It was like he was having a seizure in there I agree. He seemed nervous from the get-go. Plus the fella's pushing 40!!!
