I mean, did he tire himself out in the second? Taking nothing away from Mayweather he came back from a monstrous right hand and dominated the fight with pinpoint, hard counter punches. It was just weird to me how bad Shane was huffing and puffing, even Nazim pointed it out.
38 years old....and he for sure coudnt use steroids anymore...syke i dont know why maybe cause he was OUTCLASSED and looked disallusioned when he coudnt do anything.which is weird cause shane is pretty damn good himself...such an atmosphere at the movie theatre blacks ppl chanting canelo :) and cheering him when he stopped cotto...mexicans,blacks,pinoys,whites we all had a fawkin great time screaming and cheering boxing rules.
i think the nerves sapped some of his energy. i've never seen shane so ****ing shaky and jittery like that. he never really did calmed down once in this fight.
Dude, that's the result of lack of oxygen. When your physical body gets old, you just can't re-generate the blood lost same as before you were younger.
And Shane is old, i already said it before, he's got no more stamina but people won't listen.
All i asked of shane is a busted lip on floyd and he almost did but not enough so i still give props to the old guy shane, he really did tried. :lol1:
Floyd, nah, what can i say, as always, he never delivers what he said of KO but he did fullfill of sticking up the fans again. :D

this is it right here...shane cracked under the pressure...i want to see the replay of this cause the folks i was watching this with wouldn't stop hollering for me to hear what was being said in the corners...but he looked gassed cause he was hyperventilating...he wasn't controlling his breathing because he was scared...hence all the bouncing and shaking and the lack of punching for fear of being hit...like larry merchant asked: "shane, you've been fighting for 18 years, why were you tight?" cause he was scared...he hit floyd and he was still there...he couldn't use his jab anymore because it hurt him more than it helped him...there was nothing he could do...there was nothing his corner could do for him...the man didn't want to be there anymore after round 6...
then you need to rewatch the fight, im sure you didnt see much clearly since you were streaming.
or actaully, maybe you bought the fight but you are hatin...typical
No, he's right. DL the post fight somewhere or re-watch it from a stream. The punch zone stats says floyd only landed 17 total body shots while shane landed like 42.

Floyd Sr. was dead on when he said Mosley would be a nervous wreck.
He couldn't deal with Floyd's timing. He didn't look physically tired to me until the 7th or 8th round.
he couldnt keep with Floyd..body shots also
I've seen this several times now, about floyd slowing shane down with body punches. When I recall the fight, I didn't see floyd go to the body with any frequency especially early in the fight. And looking at the compubox stats in the end it said mayweather only landed like 17 body punches.
lol. he's rocking floyd in round 2 then suddenly he stopped throwing his punches after that round because he was already exhausted, a simple fact.
yea, so it seems
Shane has been through a lot of wars. He's getting old, that's all.
He couldn't pull the trigger in most of the rounds tonight, that's a clear indication he's shot.
that was my observation as well
Mosley said it himself why. After the fight in-ring interview.
He said after he rocked Mayweather with the right hand, he got really tense and tried to knock him out. Then afterwards he could never settle down, he just stayed tense.
Mosley's words >>>>> Fan's opinion.
Well shit, I didn't see the post fight interviews. I was watching the fight at a local bar and was outside smoking. Thanks for that, or I would have had to wait and watch next week on the replay.
yea , plus the year and half layoff too. not activty hurt that fool , no question. but coming from somebody who cant stand floyd, he did a damn good job of making shane know he was not on his level.
u dont how hard it is for me to say that. :killyou::killyou:

if only shane had a stamina to last for at least 5 rounds he could have made floyd quit but poor shane he couldn't do anything about it, he should just accept the fact that he was too old to hang with the elites.
actually it's well documented that Shane ducked Floyd. But thanks for playing, you got owned.
Please show the link for that? I know they were going to fight at 135 but Mosley chose the harder challenger in a prime DLH skipping a weight division. That said it is one of my dream match ups if they were going to fight at 135. I wish Mosley would have fought some of those 140 pounders(KT, Corley, Gatti, etc.) to would have been interesting but DLH was the biggest name, one of the biggest threats, and the most money. It also catapulted him to stardom.
his age made him do that.
