This is one of the most foolish statements I've heard in a while. Mosley has pretty much every physical advantage over this guy. He's bigger, stronger, punches harder, has longer arms and can match his handspeed.
I'm getting tired of people complaining about Mosley's age. It wouldn't even matter if he was a middle aged man right now. What does that have to do with the fact that he's got skill? Style wise this is a VERY tough fight for Floyd, one that he's even capable of losing. And remember, a lot of you guys think Floyd is an overrated, normal fighter with no skill. If that's the case, then shouldn't Shane be able to knock him out easily? So why are you saying the exact opposite?
I got Floyd by 116-112 type decision. To say he's gonna "Gatti" a skilled fighter with all of these advantages over him is foolish, and to say he doesn't deserve any credit if he doesn't KO Shane is just flat out retarded. Its gonna be a very hard fight for him, probably the hardest in his entire career. I'd pick Shane to school every fighter in the WW division right now, aside from Floyd and Pacquiao. But I wouldn't be surprised at all if Floyd did lose tonight. I wouldn't even be surprised if he got KO'ed.
If Mosley somehow gets KO'ed brutally or dominated in every round, feel free to bump this thread and give me hell. I'll openly accept whatever you throw at me. I just really doubt its gonna happen, and these statements are very stupid (especially the one where someone said that Floyd doesn't deserve any credit if he doesn't KO Shane).
lol MMA sucks. But we're even, since Shane didn't get KO'ed. Although I believe Floyd could have capitalized. He probably didn't wanna risk getting the Mayorga treatment in round 12.
aight i give you your props you ate your crow proper. Yes that was the closest Shane has ever gotten to be KTFO. Floyd could have done it. Nazim Richardson wanted to stop the fight. Shane was done and destroyed.
So Boxerdood dumbass, wassup now? Time to go back to the MMA forum? You obviously don't know much about boxing. You got OWNED.

I'm a man of my word. Go ahead, attack me. Big ups to Floyd for the dominant performance. He really proved that he's a great fighter.
If he presses the action and throws lots of combinations, he's increasing the chances of getting caught. Just watch round 1 of Bradley-Holt and you'll see exactly what could happen if Floyd tried to "Gatti" him.
You guys are treating Shane like he's Roy Jones Jr. The guy still has speed, power, skill and reflexes left in him. He may not be prime, but he's still the #3 WW and he'll kick anyone in that divisions' ass outside of Mayweather and Pacquiao.
When holt dropped Tim I was praying he wasnt knocked out that was a scary moment.
boxerdood......i aint asking floyd to be the aggressor..............calculated risk...............not overly cautious............he definitely needs to take risk.....im not asking him to trade.........but lets see them 3-4 punch combo.................
That's reasonable. I hope Mosley doesn't allow him to potshot his way to a victory. I wanna see an exciting, Mayweather-Corley type fight (just without the wobbling lol).
why would the greatest defensive fighter arguably since pea.......................get hit flush by a 38 year old man's wide punches?...................lol...............

If Mosley does the same thing Gatti did (stand in front of Floyd with his left arm down doing his own version of the shoulder roll trying to "out-box" him when he doesn't have the skill level and the SPEED...LOL), then we could see something resembling that but to a much lesser degree, only because Shane's is faster and belongs in a higher league. Besides that, he's a lot tougher nut to crack than a defenseless Gatti.
I don't think Shane is that dumb to engage Floyd in a standoff fight at distance where Floyd would be very comfortable to oblige him.
by letting them hands go........and taking a risk.................not by potshotting..................a 38 year old man....thats how
And if he gets caught flush by this 38 year old man?
He has it in him.. frankly I'd rather he Corrales'd Mosley than Gatti'd him
Me too. Especially considering that's far more likely since Mosley's bigger and stronger.

You got some points there, however, I got both Mosley and Mayweather over Pacquiao, they are just so much more skilled than him, he got hit a lot against Cotto and Clottey, and the 2 fighters tonight would capitalize on that.
For tonight, I got Shane on KO in the 6th or earlier. That's his only chance in my opinion, you don't outbox Mayweather, he'll school you if you try, only chance for Shane is to impose his power and make it all out war and thats Shane's "zone" and I think he'll be able to make the fight as such, fire fight. The only problem I see if it becomes a brawl is Mayweathers devastating left hook / check hook
since Floyd fought Gatti, before every Floyd fight, you get a few of his fans saying he'll gatti his next opponent. hasnt happend since, and wont happen now.

If those were the factors, then why was Judah being dominated in the middle rounds?
* yes, i know Judah isn't Mosley.
Are you Al Haymon?
