IMO, if Mayweather loses this fight, it will be good for boxing in general, the welterweight division specifically. All of the sudden, Mayweather is beatable (and beaten), which provides extra curiosity among the 3: mayweather, mosley, and pacquiao. It will also mean others who beat mosley before, to possibly joining the fray. It will be a very interesting boxing world. This will also possibly mean that Mayweather and Pacquiao may defer their plans of retiring early, and thus provide more lucrative fights. Imagine a trilogy among trilogies between Mayweather, Mosley, and Pacquiao, with others in wait.
