Whoever said that?
The United States is very prejudice. As are a lot of countries.
However its ridiculous to insinuate he was left out on the grounds of racism. He has speeding offenses and he broke some dudes arm hitting him with a car.
I'd understand if he didn't have any kind of record at all, but there's actually grounds to not let him into the country with those minor offenses
THAT IS RIDICULOUS! DRIVING OFFENCES HOLD YOU BACK? LOL COME ON MAN. Cocaine and all those drugs end up in the country in large amounts all the time which are far more dangerous. AND ALCOHOL is SOLD PUBLICLY WHICH IS AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS DRUG. But they want to stop Amir Khan (with a few driving offences) from entering the country.
says u. u think the government cares what joe schmoe from boxingscene says???not really...after 9/11, they dnt take any chances. ive seen ppl with regular last names get wait listed for months just because of the places theyve traveled to.
and u think that's right? it's all for show dude. the truth is that the US (and UK) governments allowed its airlines to run at far too low a security level for decades, and now they are badly over-compensating. sure, the airline security proceedures needed an overhaul, but this list business is a joke. it is a showy way for the US government to look like they are running a tight ship. they can run a tight ship without detaining or rejecting innocent people because of their last name...
Thank you for being honest. You are better than the retards who insist that America holds no prejudice and is just etc.

lol, and u seriously think that's the point here? why the **** was a three year old boy on a terror list in the first place? and why would anyone think amir khan was a terrorist? have people in the US seen his dad at his fights? he is the proudest brit in the building lol, even wears a union jack suit ffs. amir has also been vocally patriotic. they are extremely westernised people and dont deserve this ridiculous scrutiny when it is so obviously bullshit. this whole situation is very silly...
ummm i think he was jokin.
He could have been strapped with a bomb.

Khan doesn't need to be a big name for people to know who he is. He's clearly not a threat ffs.

if khan just said he was the dude from slumdog millionaire they would have let him in no questions asked. telling the authorities he's a fighter was a bad idea.
Fair enough if Joe Khan ( not bloggs, like it? :D ) came into America. But this is Amir Khan, a professional boxer who's got a reputation.
Surely someone would realise who he was?
:nonono:
Khan's not a name in America despite what Wazza tells you.
US Embassy are pricks. My last name is Khan too, and they wouldn't let my 3 year old cosine (at the time) leave the state cuz he was supposedly on some sort of list
lol wow man that is MESSED UP. Shows you how retarded Americans are...

I think it's reasonable that the US authorities make some prejudices based on security reasons.

this also happened to the biggest actor in the world, that sharukh khan or whatever his name is. guy has over a billion fans and is a billionaire, was detained because his name was khan.
it is a bit disrespectful but fully understandable to why it is done
