If Mayweather was famous enough he wouldn't bring up Ali's or Robinson's name in almost every conversation he has when interviewed. However he's not that well known so he does it to identify himself. People watching the interview are like "who is this guy" he says I am better than "Ali and Robinson." They say "o I guess this guys a boxer."
