Mosley-Floyd fight ticket sales have been sluggish, to say the least. Part of the reason, the tickets were over-priced.
They put the ticket prices so high because they care more about $$$ than they care about # of seats sold.
The gate was above $10 million as of a week ago.
What they should have done was ask the host site president to purchase 60 percent of the tickets and give them away to their high rollers. Then they could have sold the rest of the tickets for $100 each. That way they could assure a sell out and con the public into believing that these fighters are a lot more popular than they really are.
