I am not talking about a little 2 year "stint".
I am talking about retired for GOOD... undefeated.
I don't think he will... I think the paydays will suck him back into the game long after he is past his best.
When he is 37, 38, 39.... and that 30 million dollar payday is on the table... I think he will take it.. and eventually lose.
The money will be his downfall.
Where is the proof that ellerbe said mayweather would have those 5 fights? So after Saturday he will fight cotto, pacquio and paul williams. No way in hell
right when he came back they talked briefly about this list, please dont make me look for the link right now. My work pc is slower than shit

that was the names I think they had on "this list". I think it will look a lot like Burners list. Pac, Khan, Cotto, Alvarez
Tyson and Holyfield both made 300 million ++++
Both are in their 40's and practically broke.
Anybody can blow through cash, IMO.
And Floyd doesn't necessarily hold back his spending habits... coupled with the fact he has a gambling problem living in Las Vegas.
you are right, i totally forgot about his gambling problem... when he said that on joe buck live, I was like "hell yeah,he wont ever retire now"
Depends who he fights. Remember this is Floyd we're talking about, rarely does he take fights where he thinks he has a chance of losing.
Yeah..maybe because he's good.

Well...having too many kids can break anybody lol. I think that was part of the problem. Too many women involved.
Well hasn't he invested wisely on the naval industry?...............
he needs to keep buying boats! thats a fantastic way of investing money, right horus?
If he keeps fighting guys his own size or smaller then yes he will retire undefeated. If he takes on Williams, Martinez, and 154-160 pounders at the end of his career then no he will lose.
Pacquiao, Khan, Bradley, Berto, Mosley, Maidana, Cotto, Clottey I think all those guys lose to Mayweather. Too bad not all of them bring in the money that Mosley/Pacquiao/Khan will bring Floyd. And Berto is with Al Haymon so I don't we'll see that fight.
I seriously doubt that. He will make more than enough money in his next 4 fights than we could ever imagine. Plus Mayweather promotions will probably start growing once they start to really go at it hard..Ellerbe says he has 5 fights left on "this mysterious list".
no specific order

4. Margacheato or Pwill

I'll also add that I can clearly remember fighters like Delahoya and Roy Jones Jr claiming they would not stay in the game too long. This was while he was undefeated. The same with Delahoya. I even remember Oscar saying he would not fight past 30. Hopkins said he would retire by 40 because of his Mom's wishes. How did that turn out? Floyd already came back from one "retirement" and Pacquiao won't be any different. He'll continue to fight as long as the money is still being offered. In a perfect world these fighters would ride into the sunset on top. But way more often than not, it doesn't work that way. I doubt Floyd retired undefeated for that reason and there is no guarantee that he'll be undefeated after Saturday.
