I just cant put my finger on it but he looks different for this fight. He hypes himself up in every pre fight but just mentally, physically, confidence wise, and everything else; he seems different. I just have this funny feeling that he's going to another level in this fight. That he's going to throw the total package out there and its going to carry over for the rest of his fights until he retires. He actually seems more at peace now. He looks stronger, he seems more focused, and he just looks happy. He's back making real money again, he might break the PPV record, he's got his dad back in his life, he's having the biggest fight of his career, and he's just peaking in every possible way.
At the same time I think Shane is ready and I love what Naz said when he was basically like "we coming to win". That shit got me hyped. He was like, we are not your other opponents that really knew they had no chance and were not just here for the pay day. You talk all this shit and have all this other stuff going on but you better be at your best in that ring because we aint here to play games. We coming to bust yo ass.
Thats what makes this fight great to me. Both guys are in a good place. This shit could be classic but I just see something different about Floyd. I think he's going to put on a show and look so complete as a fighter that even the critics will give him his props, no matter what you thought about Mosley
I think you've bought into the Mayweather hype, don't expect anything different that what he usually does, guess you're one of the guys he's gonna "stick up" on May 1st.
he will either come in the ring and give mosley a beating gatti style, or he will come in and loose like he did in the first couple of rounds against zab judah. imo. but i think he is focused.
the only difference i see in floyd is he's talking a lot more trash and cussing a lot more on 24/7. he's trying really hard to get into the heads of the mosley camp. i think mosley's mental guard is the hardest one floyd has had to crack outside the ring to date. other than that, it's the same old floyd.
I thought he looked a little uncertain at times tbh, as if he had some doubts. The bravado is always there though but there were one or two scenes where he seemed off. It could have been a number of different things so can't look too deeply into it.

why are you talking how much money he is getting your not getting none ******
same old floyd. he ain't doing shit but potshot for 12 rounds. you know this man
same old pullcounter....nothing but trolling.....and using african american lingo when you are not even black........i'm curious are you white or phillipino?
I don't sense anything more different about this than the Hatton and Marquez fights (for both of those I actively followed the build-up). There's always that covert display of confidence from Mayweather's opponents which gives non-fans of the latter hope, until they hit the ring and discover the difficulty in beating him.
i think you mean "overt"
Yeah Floyd is in that Gatti mode.
lol, you noticed that too?
I said before when the 2nd episode of 24/7 aired. That Mayweather hasn't seemed this serious about a fight since Arturo Gatti. Even before, Floyd does silly antics but with Gatti he seemed totally different and that is how he seems now with Mosley.
When I heard that the fight is with 8oz gloves. I think Mayweather really wants to fight Mosley.
Floyd's the same old Floyd to me... he's out there to win and only knows how to win.. he may look more bigger but only cuz I think he's now a true welterweight.. he'll probly come in around 154-160 come fight night
If He comes in that heavy, he'll get stopped. Maybe he was that heavy vs Marquez, but the extra weight vs Mosley would be a negative. He'll be 148-150. I hope it'll be a great performance by him, but he can't go Gatti on Mosley. Letting your hands go vs Forbes and vs Mosley are two different things.

Floyd Mayweather's got that Pre-Tarver-Ko-loss-RJJ-Status, you just never really believe that you will see him lose.
Damn. Has it really got to that stage? In which case I hope the Mayweather fans don't all commit mass suicide if their man loses one day. :laff2:
Why? Because then there's no chance for the rest of us to gloat. At least Jones Jr. fans took it like men and can still recount their feelings today.
I noticed it DLT. I definitely noticed it. He's also looking bigger - perhaps he's settled into welter.
thats what roids will do to ya. his family of druggies found the antidote to fool the ost. lol

slurp slurp slurp
save some for leonard ellerbe.....
Although people might disagree with me, I think Floyd is at the apex of his prime (yes at 33 years old).
He does seem a little more confident than usual and he actually does seem determined to make a statement. I think the two years off was the best decision he's made. He has come back bigger, stronger and just as fast. Not to mention refreshed both physically and mentally.
I think there's a decent chance of Mosley getting stopped. I could see Richardson throwing the towel. Mosley is just too easy to hit and Floyd is just too accurate. Unlike Oscar, Mosley doesn't even have a jab to bother Floyd, how on earth do you guys think he's going to land on Floyd with any sort of consistency?
It's obvious Floyd carried Marquez. Floyd just wanted the rounds. If Floyd went into the Marquez fight with the same intentions that he's going into with this fight, Marquez would of been out of there in 4 rounds.
They played the waiting game with each other for so long, so something is different. It may not be what the TS but I don't think Floyd likes Shane. He just tolerate him because he's around. With Shane, it's all business, all the time.
