Carl Froch has indicated he is unlikely to quit boxing's Super Six tournament.
The 32-year-old lost his WBC super-middleweight title to Mikkel Kessler on Saturday in Denmark and is next set to face German-Armenian Arthur Abraham.
But Froch has again insisted that he will not fight the current scoreboard leader Abraham in Germany.
"I won't be fighting in Germany, simple as that, but it has been pretty much agreed that we would fight in a neutral venue," he told BBC Radio 5 live."
I gotta admit that Abrahams team are cunts in this, they want to fight for the home town ref and scoring advantage, why wont abrahams camp agree to fight in a neutral ground.
...and Haye defeated Valuev. I don't think Germany is worse than any other place.
I want the fight in Nottingham because it is 10 miles from my house. Froch has nothing to fear from AA, he will be too big and strong IMO.
Froch will KO Arthur and gain a credible DRAW in Germany
No one is going to paris to live there, They going to participate in a boxing match, Paris has host a lot of boxing events over the last 10 years.. I dont see how amsterdam is any good in terms of boxing unless you're looking to get high.
Id rather have a couple of days in the Amsterdam Coffee Shops, than in a horid place like Paris.
My opinion is purely from a fans enjoyment point of veiw.
Froch has no choice but to accept the terms and conditions dictated to him by German promotor Sauderland. If the German promotor decides the fight is in Germany it will be in Germany, The rules that both Sauderland and Hennessy agreed to was that the fight would take place where its most fiancially feasible. Against Abraham the logical and most profitiable venue is Berlin, Germany.
I must point out that im very disappointed in Carl Froch, For a long time now, For many years he has been unduly and overly critical of Joe Calzaghe and Amir Khan. Calzaghe was criticised for not fighting abroad, Yet Calzaghe fought more fights than Froch abroad and he outboxxed Kessler, The man to very convincingly defeated Froch. Coming to Amir Khan he was critical of his fights saying they were "boring", Also there was an element of jealousy over the fact that Khan is younger, richer and much more widely covered and acknowledged.
Yet Carl Froch instead of accepting his loss began blaming volcanoes, His girlfriend (For being pregnant), The judges,His ear drum ,Sauderland et al.
Carl Froch problem is he actually believes his own hype. I never did rate him as a world class fighter, I doubt he will get his title or another world title again.
Do you have a copy of the contract that was signed by both promoters? Please share if you do, I only heard about how the fight has to take place in Europe nothing about the fight taking place where it makes the most money.
Why don't they have it in Paris? Or just somewhere random in Europe. Thousands can come from Germany and the UK with ease on budjet airlines and the TV money wouldn't change at all.
Im sorry but if the fight is anywhere in europe exept england, it'll be an advantage for abraham. England is a subject of jeolousy and hate for most of europe!

What you talking about? Froch wanted it in Nottingham.
So was he offering AA more to go there?
He already had a hometown decision. He of all should have not cried.

this is the suggestion that sounds most appealing, what a night it would be !
However, if Froch has serious ambitions of getting to the semis of this tournament, he has to stay well clear of mainland europe. He'll have to take a hit in the Wallet and push for the fight to be held in America where he'll get a fair crack and things could even work in his favour after the Dirrell/Arthur debacle. I don't suppose Arthur's stock is too great over there these days. At the very least he'd have the (albeit small) crowd on his side and the reassurance that he's not going to get robbed. The rest would be down to him.
I think I can assure that a danish crowd likely will support Froch more than Abraham. They remember what a gentleman he was in the build-up to the Kessler fight and he fought his heart out before their eyes.
Im with Forch on that one, I think Kessler beat Froch but the 117-111 scorecards tell me that if the fight had been closer or to Froch advantage he still would have lost.
And you CANT win a decision in Germany, you just CANT. Like ive said numerous times Sauerland is the most corrupted promoter right now, Froch knows it, I hope he'll get a fight in neutral country
Make it in Denmark. As a double-header with Kessler-Green. You could easily fill a stadium.

Eurostar trains gets to Paris, France in 2 hours from London UK, Another train goes from Germany to brussels-paris they should have it there in Paris.
i agree, if not somewhere in france or holland with U.S ref, judges aswell.
The fight should be in Germany so that the money is right.
However, the refs and judges should all be American (why not Tony Weeks as ref and pick 3 from: Adalaide Byrd, Duane Ford, Dave Moretti, Tom Kaczmarek, Jerry Ross, Chuck Giampa, and Raul Caiz, Sr.).
That way every official is unbiased and neutral and they make the most money possible. The best of both worlds.
great idea...
they should have it in paris, neutral venue where fans from both england and germany can travel easily. paris is a big city so nobody would mind going there for a fight, great arenas too.
imagine brits and germans invading france for a huge fight in a soccer stadium or some shit, boxing is a relatively big sport in france too.
France just called me, they surrendered just in case.
Nah M8, Paris is a shithole. I got a better idea.
AMSTERDAM!!!!
What do you think?

if i'm froch, I don't care so much about the money as much as I do about getting into the next round
Thats what Froch wants, He want to get to the next round and the more reason he seems to be upset about the prospect of going to fight in germany, The super 6 tourney has shown a weakness in terms of home judging/refereeing so i wouldnt expect both AA and Froch to want to go to their opponents hometown with so much at stake, Both need the victory to stay and move into the semi-final and am sure the judging would definitely be influenced by whoever fought at home.
