I recall that a second Oscar fight was proposed, and Mosley was all for it, but it fell through because, although Mosley was offered $10 mill, Oscar would be getting so much more , and enormous difference, that Mosley was insulted, and insisted, that since he had beaten Oscar, the money should be split evenly. He said Oscar was greedy, and there was bad feeling on his part against Oscar. So the fight never occurred. Perhaps it is this, which you are talking about.

that was back when floyd was ducking the top ww(mosley, cotto, margarito etc). he chose to fight oscar and hatton instead.
