Nice way to motivate Shane even more :boxing:
Quite sad that he thinks that going on about how much money he has makes him look "fly". Is he 12? Also $60 mill? righto
He was talking about "broke muthas" in 24 7 as well - class move. I think he'll be one of those "broke muthas" 2 years after he finally retires as the only way he can make the sort of money he spends is boxing.
Unless his music label takes off .... :p
Lol sounds like Floyd is exaggerating a bit. He'll probably make around $40Mill which is still a lotttttt of money.
Yeah, you would think getting more money in 1 fight than all but a handful of athletes make in a year would be enough.
That's why people stick it to him when the IRS puts his business out there.
if this sells 2 million ppv , with gate and everything i say he makes a good $30 mil.
what's the split? 65-35?
I don't know, I would think the split is 65-35 or 70-30, but everything that's come out about it says the split was 80+ in Floyd's favor.
Coincidentally, everything that's come out on the money side is from the Mayweather side, so a grain of salt comes with it.
floyd gets the first 60 million and mosley gets the next 60 million. great deal structure.
Roy strikes again :nonono:. Supposedly GBP will only negotiate a fight against another promotional company if they hire RJ as the main negotiator.
No way in hell De La Hoya didn't even make that against Floyd the highest grossing fight ever. He always claims to make way more money then he really is for some reason.
You guys are dumb if you believe that.. The only Boxer who made 50+ million dollars in a single fight was Oscar De la hoya, he made 58 million dollars when he fought Floyd..
Floyd is using WWE math to get those numbers but I am sure Floyd will make a lot more than Shane.
I am sure Shane has some form of upside, if he didn't he would not want to promote the fight because it wouldn't matter. If that is going on he certainly is doing a good job of hiding being upset.
makes u wonder how much hbo is paying him for his idea of 24-7 everytime he fights or any hbo ppv for that matter. It was also Mayweather Promotions idea to start releasing his fights in the theaters
Yeah I seen this. Thats insane if its true. And Still laid it out in his thread.
Floyd basically puts up a front for himself IMO. He basically recieves all or most of the revenue not including the money the network and PPV provider keeps (which is supposedly around 50%).
IMO, Floyd is so bigheaded that he just wants the big check in his name, so he can make this claim. But he still has to pay a big chunk out to GBP. Floyd's still making out with a good slice before taxes, he'll still end up with 20-30 million clean.
Even Naazim criticized Shane's negotiating, saying that he couldn't say 1 bad thing except his negotiating. I still can't believe it's this bad.
