you still don't understand, after months of not being in the ring a fighter's timing, muscle memory and stamina degrade due to the inactivity. That's why an active fighter is a good fighter, the circumstances don't matter. A layoff is a layoff.
I do understand but the examples you used were poor examples. Do you honestly believe Trinidad was in the same position as Mosley? And this can work both ways. When Trinidad came back from his first Lay off he destroyed Mayorga impressively. Leonard came back after 3 years and beat Hagler. Mayweather looked sharp after his lay off. Longer than Mosley's. Vitali Klitschko looked sharp after a long lay off. I can use examples too. You can't look at it one way without the other. There is nothing written in stone that says Moslery is going to be affected. You don't know that. And a 10 year lay off is NOT the same as a 16month lay off.
I think Floyd will stop Shane. The ref, corner or doctor will wave this off.
Floyd could not stop Marquez, how in hell would you think he will stop Shane?
I'm 50/50 on this fight. Either Mosley will knock out Floyd, or Floyd will win a decision.
I'm not a hardcore Pacquiao fan bro. Lol. You don't have to be a Pac nuthugger to be a Floyd detractor which I am somewhat.
They always love to hate on the great.
I don't know how you can compare Foreman's lay off to Mosley's. Big difference between 10 years and 16 months. And those other fighters you mentioned came back from lay offs under much different circumstances from Mosley who is coming off one of the biggest and most impressive wins of his career.
