who else things the most pointless scenes are elliott ness and floyds security guards

idt it was needed but at least ness has a story. Floyd people just ride 4 deep in the smallest lac on the market. One is in a throwback pick up. & then they just sit outside the gym.

the gala, barbershop, chef, diabetes, chinatown, small gardens, they're all pointless but they have to fill in the 30min of the show. it can't all be mitts, rings, and towels. that would get old fast for a 4 episode series.

Waste of time UNLESS its him versus all of Floyds bodyguards on the undercard. Then you guys will be glad they wasted about 20 minutes of your life with them lame bio pieces lol

I said this in the other bodyguard thread so Ill just copy it: well you also have to remember that Floyd has been on here alot so I think they feel like they dont want to show the same shit they showed for the Oscar, Hatton, and JMM fights or it will get boring & redundant. Thats why I think you are seeing this bodyguards and other shit this time around

I thought that was a stupid part of the show. I don't give a shit about either of there body guards. Most boxers MW and up would **** those slow lumbering muscle bound idiots up. make that lw and up. darchinyan has done it.

they dont even give elliot ness' credentials as a body guard. They just show him lifting and he says hes been in jail and shot lol. The other episode when they showed floyd's bodyguards that was great though.

Its just entertainment really, to help hype up the fight... the show is supposed to show you different things about the fighters as well as how the training camp is going. Its just something to watch and enjoy, HBO have done a good job so far IMO... and I would just like to say that Naazim Richardson has been really interesting this episode also, thats what I kinda like about these 24/7 series, it gives others a chance to show what they're about too.
