There is corruption in boxing indeed, but....
Boxing has been corrup from the day money was involved. money changes things but in this case however, there were many rounds that could have gone either way, including the final round. so judges were obviously liking kessler who was the aggressor. Many judges also find a round or two to give to some one that is loosing the fight. personally its not a surprise to see this kind of scoring because ive seen worse scorecards. To kesslers advantage he was the clear winner so it doesnt matter if he won by a point or by 10. besdies we all knew that even if Froch dominated kessler, he would have lost anyway because the fight took place in Denmark. I personally beleive tht Dirrel beat froch and froch got a hometown victory.
That's the truth. It seems like after every fight, we're here talking about at least one piss poor score card.
I can't think of the last fight that there wasn't at least one scorecard worth blasting. Martinez-Williams, Funeka-Guzman, Malignaggi-Diaz, Froch-Dirrell, etc.
The worst part is, as in the case of Martinez-Williams most recently, that one scorecard ruins a fantastic fight and takes away from it.
Yeah RIDICULOUS scorecard. He shouldnt be allowed to judge a fight again. Either he's totally incompetent or he's on the take. Either way he shouldn't be scoring professional fights.
