i think were to carefull these days scared of takein a few punchs !! what damges people is gettin your arse beat convincenly! destroys your conferdence but even then people over come and come back and win! were the same animal that fought 50 100 years ago you know ! I have these discussions all the time. La Motta got his ass whooped so many times but still fought like a beast. I think its alot to do with fighters mental states nowadays, they're built up to be unbeatable and when they get whooped they lose that healthy arrogance. Also, fighters back then had much bigger hearts IMO.

Well I hope Ward and Dirrell are okay, because they have long careers ahead of them even after the thing's ended. Dirrell already took that sickening foul against Arthur.

Yeah, these guys are all going to be missing something when this is over. But the reward will be an enhanced legacy.Maybe Ward and Dirrell will be ok, but Dirrell did take that nasty Abraham foul. Exactly, elite fight after fight. I do think Kessler will def retire after the tourney. Ward, Abraham and Dirrell will be around. Dunno about Froch, Green.

If Froch loses to AA, he will get KTFO because he has no defence. I think personally Froch will come out of it the worst. He has the Rocky Balboa Face Defense. Every fight is against a world class opponent. Who will physically be fukked after this tourney? Alot of big punchers in Abraham, Froch, Green. Big fights take alot of fighters physically and mentally, so will the winner go on to bigger fights or what? I think dirrell will be fukked up after teh tourney
