I saw a link where someone asked the VP of Square Ring on facebook and he said there was no truth to any of this.

Taylor at 175? Big step up in weight. That's what makes me seriously doubt the validty of this rumor... that and the TS hasn't posted a link yet. After moving up to 168 Taylor said he would probably never go up to 175 because he didn't feel he was big enough. Also Taylor is rumored to have at least a one or two fight deal with Showtime, whenever he decides to return to the ring. Why would he waste his time with a Squre Ring PPV, which are notorious for being financial disasters, when he has guaranteed money with Showtime? None of this makes sense. The only way they MIGHT be able to profit from this fight is if it's in Little Rock, where Taylor still has a decent following who would turn out hoping to see him KO the ghost of a legend.

I don't think Taylor will fight until the latter part of the year at least.

They were going to fight after the 2nd Pavlik loss, when it would've been an acceptable fight. I just hope Roy and Jermain retire because I want them to enjoy their money and be healthy.

well taylor was broken down in two of his stoppages, abraham was the only real out of the blue KO. and they were all against punchers, meanwhile roy got knocked out cold by glen johnson with one punch. taylor clearly has the better chin, that dont even matter though, roys legs and reflexes are shot but jermain is still sharp. jermains boxing IQ is pretty low though and roy is smart and has fast hands and power still, maybe he can sucker jermain in and knock him out. but it think its unlikely, his reflexes are so shot he wont be able to react quick enough to catch him. taylor in 4, i doubt the fight will happen though. i hope it doesnt, its sad what roy has become he needs to call it quits already.
