Randy is a bad boxer. In the UFC he might be a good boxer. And I would like to see him try that dirty boxing on Toney. Just because he can beat the Vera fighting in the clinch. Does not mean he is a master of holding and hitting. Sure he is, boxing is very diffrent in the octagon than it is in the boxing ring. You have to change you stance and footwork to protect against leg kicks and takedowns which are things that Randy has been doing for decades. You forget that Pro Boxers train to avoid punches and punches only while Randy has been training to avoid everything that gets thrown his way. I would go as far to say that Couture is probably better at using his limited boxing ability in the Octagon than Tony is at using his Master level boxing in the octagon. It goes without saying that Tony is far and above the better pure boxer, but does he know how to use it in the Octagon. I doubt it!

Toney needs to wisen up. Why the hell is he wasting his time doing MMA when really he should be retired.

Do you? "Dirty boxing" has nothing to do with western style boxing other than infighting. Joe Rogan and the rest of them, go on about Randy's 'dirty boxing' during fights where he never even "dirty boxes". James Toney is a master 'dirty boxer' by western standards. Dirty boxing in the UFC refers to pushing your opponent against the cage while peppering them with punches and elbows while in the clinch, and it's a common strategy that Couture uses. However I think in his fight against Toney he'll shoot for the takedown straight away.
