Indeed. It's embarrassing, and in theory it's them admitting that the holder of their title isn't really the best fighter in the division. We all know that to be true but it goes against the entire foundation of the commissions and what their ranking systems are supposed to mean. Not that Sulaiman and co. give a shit about protecting its champions, not as long as six figures are coming their way from whoever they decide to whore the diamond belt to. I agree with you man... When Floyd was the WBC champion before he left NONE of this stuff popped up, BUT since Berto is basically the lesser known in the division with their title they gotta put their name back at the top with ANOTHER type of way...

Is not a championship, it is a trophy... It is rewarded to huge fights that does not have a major title on the line. But, is no championship, it does not have any rankings. You can not lose the belt. So basically it is just a trophy that you to pay a fee to get though... WOW what a WASTE of time and MONEY... Who wants to pay for a trophy that THEY'VE won???
