some poster said floyd was flawless. True or false?
name 3 or more flaws you see in floyd.
here's my 3:
1) stopped throwing combinations (was a lethal combination puncher south of 140)
2) does not fully commit to his punches (might be a issue with his hands)
3) sometimes he backs into the ropes and stays there
I will give you credit for the points you made. However, this doesn't answer the question of how Pac will KO Floyd in 7 rounds when he couldn't KO Marquez after knocking him down three times in the first and couldn't KO a journeyman like Clottey whose defense is not as good as Floyd's.
I find clottey to be A- fighter with great defence. He may forgotten to throw his puches against pacquiao. He barely lost to anybody. I never said pacquiao will KO mayweather in seven. Nobody will KO mayweather. He will never stand there and trade punches especially against a puncher. He rather change the rules of boxing.
He doesnt have any flaws.
1. He doesnt have to throw combinations to win hes proved that. No? He sstill the most accurate boxer in the history of the sport since compubox was introduced.
2. He KO'd Hatton and dropped JMM. His punches are fine.
3. He backs into the ropes and doesnt get a glove layed on him.
Every fighter is flawed.
how can anyone exploit that flaw if mayweather doesn't fight anyone who can exploit it?
I completely agree with this right here. I really wish Floyd had stayed put for a bit longer. I would have liked to see him fight Malignaggi, Casamayor and Witter. The WW division wasn't even that great when he moved up. The only fighter who was really available was Margarito, and the tensions between Arum and Floyd ruined that fight completely. Williams was still somewhat green and he had fights lined up, Mosley was at 154, Cotto was still zombified at 140, Cintron and Spinks just got KTFO and Clottey was struggling with Mayweather's blown up leftovers.
If he had stayed at 135 and 140 for longer, I think people would look at him a lot differently than they do right now unless they dare call Casamayor, Johnston, Witter, etc bums.
What does average power mean? He has a 62 percent KO rate. Pac's is 69 percent. Do you consider Pac's power average also? He does have a low punch output, but his opponents have a low connect percentage. If you look at his last five fights, his opponents, on average, have thrown 100 more punches, but landed and average of 60 fewer punches than Floyd. Please tell me how that is a flaw
KO percentages don't tell the whole story. Anyone with eyes could tell you that Pac is definitely more powerful than Floyd, regardless of KO percentage. Floyd does have average power, but it's his accuracy that does the trick. When he knocked out Hatton, it was a good shot power-wise, but right on the ****ing button, man. He can throw a decent shot, but it's where he places them that is a lot more important. He's never going to be Trinidad and just demolish fighters.
I don't think he really has too many flaws. He doesn't have the hightest output, he doesn't throw constant bombs, I guess there's a few minor flaws, but every fighter has flaws. The real question is can the oppenent expose it? And imo it would take a top 15 all time fighter to expose him.
Mayweather could not knock marquez out coming in bigger , taller,, stronger,,, quicker. He knocked him down but just like pac,, he could not finish him too. Nobody finished marquez yet and pac came to fight him at what they'd agreed on.

avarage power, theres faster fighters out there, avarage height for the weightclass, low punch output, safety first approach...............so in short, outpointable by a good big man who can keep him over-defensive and outwork him

I know of Mayweather's flaws. I won't reveal them, though.
there is a few things i see sometimes where if the other guy knew what to do they could clip him good.
he doesnt fight the best................
hes too damn insecure.......................
he think hes a great shit talker.....................................
1. Mosley is the best at welterweight right now.
2. Not even worthy of a response.
3. He is a great shit talker. His shit talking ability (in combination with his skills) helped make him the biggest name in boxing
get off floyd's nuts.
Isn't this like the 20th time you've mentioned Floyd's nuts in a post? lol he's not even my favorite fighter. I just hate seeing foolish posts, even when they're from Floyd fans.
But seriously, my only problem with him is that he doesn't take opportunities when they're given to them, even when he won't receive any damage. Baldomir has absolutely no power, yet Floyd was treating him like he was a Cruiserweight. You don't show a guy like Baldy that much respect.

the real question is this:
How many flaws does floyd have that his oppossition has been able to exploit??
Pac couldn't KO Marquez with those straight lefts after knocking him down three times in the first round. What makes you think he could even land a straight left against Mayweather? Oh, wait, I understand. Pac wasn't on PED's when he fought Marquez.:headbang:

Flawed or not, He will be eating left straights from PAC and be Ko'd 7th to 8th round

1. He won't man up and fight Vitali or Wlad
2. He gets hit more than 5 times in a fight. You can't be a good defensive fighter and get hit that many times
3. He couldn't control Bob Arum's mind in 2006 and force him to make a Margarito fight
What a fraud...

the same reason why AA's peekaboo defense was a flaw against the right kind of boxer who could exploit it.
when was that ever exploited against Mayweather tho
