There's already going to be 3 WBA titlist (there's already Nushenko as the "regular" and there's another fight that will be for the interim). The WBA has the most history, but has been a running joke for years. I hope they all die out and every boxer just goes after the Ring title.

Would you agree that the casual fan (whom generates the most revenue) believes that a 'belt' means something..? To us boxing fans it means nothing. But doesnt not having a belt take the edge out of the fight to the casual fans? they will still see Shane walk out with the WBA belt, he's just not gonna be giving it to Floyd if he loses. Plus he'll be introduced as the WBA WW champion of the world at the start. By the end no-ones gonna give a shit if they see Floyd lift a belt over his head or not.

At first I was kinda pissed that it wasn't going to be for the belt but now I think it's kind of funny. :lol1: Floyd's a prick to the end. Think about it though. It's a total slap in the face for the sanctioning body. Indeed it is. I'm beginning to enjoy Floyd's antics. Although he's a prick.
