If Mosley only have a better trainer from the start....

Forrest was just a stylistic problem for him. If he would've got off to a faster start against Winky and Cotto. He might have had a chance to win or get a draw at least. I think Mosley's main problem was confidence after losing to Forrest.

i don't think any trainer could have save shane from losing to either forrest and winky. it's just a bad matchup for shane as those two have answers for every strengths that shane has.

I stated this before. Even if he lost to those two, it wont be embarrassing as the first in both fights. Jack couldnt make the gap shorter in the first Winky fight. With Joe Goosen as a trainer in the 2nd fight, it became much closer.

Evangelista was a pretty good trainer. We saw what happened when Santiago took over, he was kinda helpless. Evangelista focused him very well. Jack Mosley was good at developing Shane's natural athleticism, but when he had to come up with gameplans, he was very mediocre. "You a hard puncher, Shane, hit him." Sound like good advice to you? Brother Naazim gave him real guidance and he looked like a new man. i didn't mean to come off as saying that papa trinidad and evangelista are bad trainers, but i think they sorta maxed out what they could teach both tito and cotto.

Mosley simply couldn't deal with Winky's defense/ jab. Also people forget Mosley broke down mentally. As for Forrest, Forrest just has Mosley's number.

He got whooped by Forrest in the ams as well im suprised they did not come up with a fight plan at least by the 2nd pro fight to make it somewhat close. Second Winky fight was closer at least, but still pretty clear loss.. I think Mosley was more in need of a better manager if anything tbh, he should have stayed far away from those dudes.. especially Winky hadn't Mosley learnt his lesson from the Forrest crap? Dude never learned and it really hurt his marketability guy could have been a huge star Jack didnt train Shane in the 2nd Winky fight.

He should at least come with a good gameplan although its still up for the fighter. jack isn't a strategy type trainer, he's a guy that gets you in shape and teaches you how to box.

Having a famous trainer doesn't mean you will become an elite fighter. maybe he's not crap, but i think some guys need that other trainer to take them to the next level.

I think he wouldnt lost to Forrest and Winky. Even if he lost, it wont be an embarrasing loss. Jack Mosley is a shit trainer. He instructed Shane to aim for the head of a moving target. :wtf: forrest and winky are just too big for mosley. they just have his number.
