I never could stand De La Hoya. Always thought he was a total phony.

I still haven't seriously found ONE nut hugger/fan of him even considering how popular he is :lol1:. I used to love De La Hoya, and I still feel that he was robbed in just about every big fight that went the distance. But I started to get annoyed with him when he stopped caring whether he won or lost, like his excuse after the Mayweather fight, where he was talking about just not using his jab. And then he would tell fighters (Cotto) that he was going to give him his shot and then instead chose to fight bigger money fights such as Pacquiao. One of the best fights I have ever seen was his battle with Vargas. That was an edge of the seat fight. I would like to see it again.

PWILL aka Golden Boy 360 comes to mind. I was a casual DLH fan before he fought Pacquiao, use to list him in my top 10 favorite fighters but fighting Pacquiao lost him some fans.

Oscar fans are casual boxing fans. Most of the people who post here regularly follow the sport well enough to know Oscar wasn't as great as he was hyped to be.
