“And that it was possible that the family of Valero’s wife had powerful friends and so there could have been a conspiracy to get back at Valero. How can you hang yourself using your clothes?”
“Someone might have gotten back at Valero. If police authorities felt that Valero could be a danger even to himself, they should have stripped him down to his briefs inside his cell or put on a straight jacket on him”

Considering most people don't kill themselves with witnesses around, almost any suicide could possibly be a murder. Even if they leave a suicide note, conspiracy theorists will say it's a forgery or something. Personally I think Valero just knew his life was over anyways so he took the coward's way out instead of standing accountable for his actions.
Sorry but your conspiracy theory is reedickyaluss, So why didnt they kill a pass out and helpless Valero while they were killing his wife? Your post doesnt add up at all, He wasnt drugged..He drank himself to the point of been drunk, All what you typed is just a made up fantasy in your own mind..
I respect you as a poster so dont take this the wrong way, The soon you accept that edwin valero murder his wife the better, He might have been killed in the prison by someone else but he surely killed his wife.
for the record I respect you too, I'm just the kind of person who doesn't like to believe the 1st thing I'm told, I think if this was a carefully planned crime then it all fell into place well, she was killed and he killed himself in jail, it's the perfect alibi against him being that 2 weeks prior he beat her down, that negative cloud created by him breaking her ribs is what makes it so people don't even care to ask questions they just presume he was a beast and he did it.
honestly what made me reach my conclusion on this matter is that she was shot before, her life was already attempted to be taken so unless it was him that shot her it's not too hard to believe that someone else wanted her dead, how better to cover it than to set the stage for him to be the one who did it? I thought for a long time he admitted to killing her but he didn't he said that it was possible being that he didn't remember anything. I'm just trying to read between the lines because from what I saw in the Gatti case that was a cover up, Gatti was murdered too IMO and I made the mistake in that case of believing the 1st thing they reported not taking into account that whatever press that comes out of Venezuela is produced in Venezuela, they could be telling us whatever they want us to know and it isn't like Valero is here to elaborate on it neither..
Mr. steak cutter could be right.. but we will never know.
Do we care honestly? If it did happen it was vigilante justice, but either way justice was served if it did happen. If someone took your daughter from you? What would you do? I would ****ing want to kill that cocksucker if they took my child away from me personally.
I think he killed himself, and if someone murdered him I could care less anyways. The ****er killed his wife, so who should feel pitty for him?
I don't for one.
I made shit up? what did I make up here Reed? if you read the post you should have more to say than just that man..

^^^ holy sh1t that's long.. someone got any cliff notes on that??
Anyway, Koncz should stick to wiping Pac's ass for a living instead of trying to be a conspiracy theorist..
First, the girl in your sig is really hot. She really appeals to my American appettite of sex and violence in one swoop.
Second, Valero is a punk who killed his wife and made his two kids into orphans. After he sobered up, he realized what he did and INSTEAD of facing the justice system and the family committed suicide.
His wife endured his drinking and beatings for months or years, so a few days ago some politician decides that a way to get Valero out of the picture is to kill his wife (as opposed to killing Valero) so Valero would go to jail.
Valero beat and threatened his wife numerous times. The circumstantial and possibly the forensic evidence points to him. He had the motive (crazy, drunk, and high) and he was there. Please don't try to make him out as a martyr because he doesn't deserve it. If anyone deserves it, it is his wife's family and their small children.
Talk about making it up as you go.........
I made shit up? what did I make up here Reed? if you read the post you should have more to say than just that man..
This is probably going to be my longest post ever on Boxingscene but it covers every single aspect and thought I have supporting my reason to believe he was murdered and didn't commit suicide, I'll appreciate it if you read it all and tell me what you think...
he was murdered, I now have no 2nd thought or doubt in my mind, what a coincedence that his wife was shot and was an attempt murder victim by a political group in Venezuela, she was shot and could have died meaning there were already people out there with political backing looking for her head already..
as more news surfaced I found out he actually stopped at a police post and he was referred by them to go to a specific hotel, the hotel where everything went wrong. he went to police because he was in fear that people were following him and I'm sure it wasn't for an autograph neither, he told the cop at that post what he thought and he was recommended to the hotel where his wife was murdered..
Valero said it himself when he arrived to the hotel he noticed strange people, a lady on a couch looking awfully suspicious and a man who says hello to his wife in an uncomforting way, the whole time he was drinking and as all of this is going down he drank more and more remembering less and less, when he finally got to his hotel destination he was completely drank and drugged out so he passes out..
then, he wakes up and sees blood all over himself and his wife is dead next to him, mind you they are in a hotel where they were recommended by police to go there and when they get there they see suspicious people, she was stabbed 3 times. while he was unconcious it's possible people snuck into the room, covered her mouth and stabbed her 3 times, he wouldn't have noticed if he were truly blacked out from all the drugs. that police post probably set him up, they probably sent him to that hotel, set him up and had people there waiting to kill his wife whom they tried to kill before and knowing he was drunk and they had access to the hotel they waited for the right time to strike and kill her
he wakes up to a bloodbath and he's covered in blood because he's laying next to her, he sees her dead and doesn't know why so he goes downstairs and calls police and says that it COULD'VE been him but he truly wasn't sure, that is not admitting guilt that is only accepting the possiblity of it so he DIDN'T actually confess to killing her, he even went to jail with 0 hostility
think about it he was sent to a hotel by police out there and in that very hotel they were suspicious people, whos to say the police didn't phone the hotel ahead of time and had him set up? 2 weeks prior it was reported that he beat his wife so if she popped up 1 morning next to him dead who is logically the person they would expect did it?
it's an easy way to take attention off themselves and put it on Valero. I GUARANTEE they will not investigate that hotel, not because they don't have to but because if they did so honestly they'll basically be ratting themselves out as they were the ones who did it therefore they set him up to be the one who takes the hit and make it seem like he did it so therefore an investigation in the hotel isn't warranted..
Valero after being locked up for a day gave out hints that foul play was in effect but he himself wasn't sure of anything anymore but from the little he did say it all makes sense, they wanted her dead, they did it in a way where they could pin it on him and when he's in jail they kill him using his own sweat pants making him seem like a killer who went crazy and killed his wife then himself when they both were victims of murder from a corrupt government..
doesn't that make sense? set him up to look like he murdered his wife and then arrest him for the murder of his wife so there is no need for an investigation because they already "found" the killer, they take him to jail and before he can speak his full piece after being 100% clear in the head they kill him too in his cell and take a picture of their dirty work to show the world, he didn't even make it to the morgue man that horrible picture was taken fresh after the murder of Valero, they had the perfect cover up and got away with it clean..
Rest In Peace Edwin "El Inca" Valero and Jennifer Carolina Viera, I hurt for you and am deeply saddened by this whole tragedy, they took you both away from the world but they can't kill what you were and that is a machine, you'll be deeply missed by the Boxing community champ..
Talk about making it up as you go.........
crillz: where is it you get all this insider information about how the police are the ones that referred valero to that hotel and especially and most dubiously, about how valero supposedly noticed strange people looking at him in the hotel etc?
2ndly to everyone else: I did read elsewhere previously that Valero's Wife's family did have some influence...I know that's strange but I did read that she had influential family with ties to the government or something along those lines so anything is possible.
give me a few minutes, ima come back and edit this post with the links to the info..
Edit: http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/showpost.php?p=8139052&postcount=12
this was the post I made in a thread that was posted earlier, this is when I came to my conclusion on how I feel regarding this whole case. it may be wishful thinking but I honestly just don't believe he did it
No.
Valero committed suicide when he came down from the drugs/alcohol he was on, and fully realized what he had done.
you telling me it's not possible he was set up? it's not possible that people were lurking around or maybe that room was specifically designated for him? the cop he spoke to couldn't have had any pull in that hotel? someone couldn't have gone into the room after he passed out and covered her mouth so she wouldn't yell and stabbed her 3 times while he wasn't aware? is it completely out of reason to assume that the very same country who had politically connected people shoot her didn't set him and her up? they already had it in for her and in this instance they can take him out too and make it seem like it was all him..
he woke up clueless, he had no idea or recollection of what happened and he said it COULD HAVE been him while Venezuela press said he flat out confessed and he didn't, I'm telling you this was a whole big plot by a government to cover up the murder, if it was anyone else I wouldn't be saying this but here is a man whose wife was shot due to problems with a political group out there, he was VERY well connected according to the same sources of info that accused him in the first place so that can't be a lie, think outside the box homie this is another Arturo Gatti case here, this man was murdered..

- Michael Koncz
This was my thought when speculating , not saying he didn't commit suicide but given what he was wearing, it would be very hard to hang yourself with.
ive posted this yesterday. if his wifes family was influential, then its a possibility valero coulda been murdered.
if his wife's family was influential, they wouldn't have let valero drug jennifer up or beat her up.
