i'm with you......i can't find any remorse in m heart except for his children.
Have to agree with you on that. I feel for his children right now, they have lost their danm parents at a young age in a terrible way. Valero had issues but if he wanted to end it then killing his wife is being a coward, if wanted to leave the world then maybe he should have left by himself, those children will be broken for the rest of their lives.. I feel their pain
He also was doing hard drugs according to the Venezuelan police. This wasn't his first stint with the police, he was not a good guy.
I know alot of you people fell sympathetic because you are boxing fans, but there is a 20 yr old mother dead and children left without parents because if what this guy did.
I just don't feel very empathetic right now.

Maybe he drank to numb the pain.
Who knows what else he was taking.
This isn't some guy who just killed his wife out of the blue, he had a history of domestic abuse and alcohol related problems.
I hope you go through something really hard Check, we'll see how ' manly ' you are then.

real men take care of their families........real men don't beat on their wives....
why do ppl use substance abuse as a way to excuse their actions?
Outcomes are the only thing that matters.....not the circumstances preceeding it. The outcome is that he orphaned his children.
As for the last bit i hope i don't..........but i'm confident in my mental fortitude and upbringing to continue to do the right thing.
I hate people who judge others when they don't know shit about his life. Do you know him? Do you know why he kileld his wife? Do you know what happened? NO so STFU and give the man respect.
seriosuly....fuk you.....and congrats....first poster i am putting on ignore.
You are a weak minded fool.
This I know for a fact...
I work for Venezuelans, well they are Portuguese who lived in Venezuela most of their lives. They know I'm a former amateur boxer and train fighters at a local gym so we talk about Valero and boxing all the time. This one guy I work with always shows me news about him in Venezuela.
How he beats on his wife, his mother and other family members. How he got the tattoo on his chest and completely subscribed to the Communism that Chavez brought to Venezuela.
I don't know how crazy the dude was, or even if he was crazy. I do know he was drinking heavily and when he did drink would beat up on him wife and own mother.
I don't mean to be insensitive but they lived in fear of him and now an innocent 21 year old woman is dead at the hands of Valero. Aside from admiring this man in the ring, there's nothing of him to admire. He was a wife beater, a drunk and now has murdered an innocent woman. Then went your like a coward and killed himself instead of facing the consequences of his actions.
Holy crap, are you serious? Valero was a freakin psycho path!

co-sign. Hate cnts who can't handle their liquor......they should have there man card confiscated.
I drink to have a good time and get loose + blow off steam......not to get emotional and angry like some pussies do.
No excuses for his despicable actions...........

Who knows what he was under the influence of.
i don't care.........that's a pussies excuse.......i hate it when ppl use intoxication on alcohol or drug use to explain or justify their behaviour. If you are a violent drunk.....don't drink.
He should be punished and put in the ring with Vitali for 12 hard rounds, turning his face into a pizza.
Say what? Valero is dead? I never even knew he hung himself till i just read the boxing news. I take that back, that's real sad. He obvoisly had mental issues but didn't get the help he needed which resulted in this tradegy. I think he was selfish to take his wifes life, i feel ever so sad for his kids, i wish them all the best in the future.
R.I.P
:nonono:Hopefully they're too young to understand what's going on.
Yeah, but eventually thry will find out man, sad, very sad.

Valero would have won by KO:boxing: that would be like a punishment for Vitali. 27 have tried and 27 have been ko'd. lol.

What he didn't was right, but he was being ruined by alcohol. It's not like this came out of the blue, everyone knew he had problems with alcohol and beating his wife.
How old are his kids?
Yeah, I know what you mean. It was very obvious that Valero was not all there yet they failed to watch him closely in jail, a guy with those kind of problems is capable of anything. They should have known better. And I too wish this whole thing didn't happen, Valero is another "What could have been" for boxing. 27-0-27 down the drain. Oh and I have not heard anything about his kids yet, someone posted in here that he left behind 2 daughters, but thats about it, Im not sure if this is made up.
No one has a clue what Valero was going through, I think it's stupid and immature to wish he'd burn in hell.
Just a question. I ain't saying that I personally wish that for him, I know others do though. Although I do admit I find what he did very pathetic and cowardly! What a horrible way for the kids to remember their parent's last moments on earth. That's something that will definitely scar them.
YES ABSOLUTELY. You guys realize to hang yourself you probably have to be a little ****ing crazy. Normal people don't commit suicide. He's dead, let him rest in peace.
Mental Illness is a terrible thing...no person in their right state of mind would do the things he has done...maybe the constant blows to the head in the ring had something to do with it??...anyway I will not judge him...its a shame he took his wife and the police should have had him on suicide watch...shame on them...but hey if he wanted to go he wanted to go...rest in peace warrior.
A lot of guys on here need to grow up...might be someone you know next.
