Why Is Everyone Ripping Valero?

None of us still know the real situation. I mean the guy didnt have his license because of a brain injury. What if he is really off in the head? That wouldnt make it right for him to kill her but maybe he is not in control at all times. Maybe he is just as much of a victim as her and no one ever gave him the help he needed. Im not being an apologist for him. I just think you have to always look at both sides. I know some killers and some motha****as that need to be put up under the jail forever but then there are also some really sad situations where mentally ill people didnt get the help that they deserved and ended up doing some bad things to innocent people or those who loved them the most. I feel bad for her because you can just tell that she was probably so innocent, always wanted to do right by him, and yet he still always went off on her but maybe the kid really did have a brain problem. We fans dont care. We always think that just because he stops a million people in the 1st round automatically means that Nevada or whoever was wrong not to give him his License when in reality these guys have special doctors and they deemed that something was either wrong with him or if he took any more punishment then something would be wrong with him. That doesnt necessarily mean that he himself will become a punch drunk disabled boxer. It could also mean that he's missing some screws and each punch makes it worst to where he is unstable and may kill someone. We joke all the time about how he looks like an animal or a crazed killer but maybe the shit is real and maybe its not his fault. Maybe he was a regular nice dude and the brain thing got worst & worst maybe due to boxing and he's become halfway insane. Maybe he was a nice cool guy when she met him and because he kept fighting with the injury, he's become a monster. IDK, I just always feel for people like this and arent always quick to judge. Again, he may be ok and is just a cold hearted killer/women beater but he also may be a victim in his own right. Shit, there are alot of studies about Football players & boxers in general who arent right due to all the head trauma and those are the normal guys, let alone cats who were already messed up in the head from the jump. Im not even necessarily putting it on boxing. It may have nothing to do with that. It may just be the brain injury by itself and it was going to make him bad even if he didnt box but Im sure punches to the dome couldnt have helped. Again though, maybe he was ok and is just a monster. I tend to give him the benefit of doubt as of now because we all know that he had a brain problem and couldnt get a license. That should change things for people in regards to his case. He may just not have been right

Some people respect the dead, some don't- it's that simple. Say what you want about a guy when he's alive, feel free I suppose, but I guess what this thread is saying is have a little respect for the dead. That simple. He killed his career, his wife, and himself. To not see a troubled young man instead of just a monster is pretty simplistic. R.I.P. Edwin Valero

Lets see he beats up his mom and sister. He beats up his wife. He then is aware he needs help but puts it off. He then confesses to murdering his wife. Then he takes a coward way out in killing himself instead of facing the consequences to his actions. Oh and not to mention probably destroyed his kids lives in the process. Yea i see ur point plenty of reasons not to rip on Mr.Valero... What a joke...

what are you saying man? How can you turn your own life around if you are mentally ill and have brain damage? Thats my whole point. All you guys keep treating him like he's normal and he may not be. He may have been normal, then suffered brain damage, and is now different. If he's different then he's not going to seek help or anything because his mind doesnt think that way anymore It comes down to personal choices. He's already had run ins with the law and personal demons to deal with. Given all that, he could have sought help but he did not. There is simply no excuse for murdering you own wife. Lowlife scum like him had it coming. Good riddance. And sheesh, stop defending this murderer.

Man stop defedning this guy. it's sickening. None of you even know if he had mental illness. Just brain damage. There's a huge difference. He's just a cold blooded killer that happened to be a famous boxer. Some of you may have admired his boxing ability so much that it made you forget he's just a person like the rest of us. 1st off Im not defending him. Im just giving another side. 2nd, Im not a fan of his like I have stated numerous times. I also said in nearly all my post that we dont know and that he may be a cold blooded killer but he may just be brain damaged. Last of all, you say that he may not be mentally ill but just brain damaged and thats a huge difference? Like being brain damaged is so great. Are you insane? Thats the #1 problem that you can have. Then in the next sentence you say he's just a cold blooded killer but you think he did maybe have brain damage. Come on man, the 2 dont go together. Sam just died from the same thing he had and he actually fought with it

I would blame his handlers for not guiding him and not watching him enough if they already knew he has demented issues and I also blame Valero himself since he also has the power to turn his own life around with all the trouble he's been in yet he did not do anything about it. what are you saying man? Bump. Now Suicide? Again, he could be a no good cold hearted monster or he couldve also been a victim of a terrible injury which kills a seriously high amount of peopel who get it, including our beloved Sam. i was like everyone else when i heard that this boxer killed his wife i was speechless and confused but this is all a very sad thing to happen to anybody its a damm shame that this had to happen clearly the man had some big time personal issues and some people just see the what they have heard and dont really know what this man had been dealing with on a personal level and the murder of his wife was a damm shame too i cant believe what happened still !!!!! are you guys aware that Valero had the same thing that killed Sam. Most people die but he survived. You dont think that would have any effect on his brain and the way he acts? Come on man. Then I know you guys have been seeing the story on ESPN about the famed HS football coach were alot of stars went, got killed by a former player. The same player who use to play for him and his parents say loved the coach more than anything. However, the kid became mentally ill and started to have violent stuff with his mother. They tried to get him help and put him in a mental home but those places never helped him right. Then he shoots the coach and kills him. Everyone else in that boys family is fine good people. He was exactly the same until the illness which his mother says from what she understands, it makes you turn on people who you love the most. Dont keep acting like you are always just scum. The guy may not be right. If Obama gets in a crash, gets brain damage and then starts totally changing then are you guys going to act like he was always like that and should be torchered, given the death penalty, and is the scum of the earth? That shit does happened to people We will never see Valero fight again. That much is known. Crazy people don't fight too. So in the best case scenario he's crazy and is put in an institution (after examination). In either case we will see him fighting again. Wasted talent.

Come on dawg, everything isnt a scam. There are alot of people who kill cats and then try to claim insanity and that shit is a scam. However, there are also some real legit cases of mental illness and people changing because of it. Shit is real homie. Why are you acting like him "maybe" having brain trauma is no big deal and he was just a regular guy who decided to kill his wife. Brain damage means nothing to you? Brain damage rarely causes insanity. That kind of shit is from chemical imbalances that you are born with. And I don't give a shit, again. He stabbed his wife to death. No mental illness should stop him from being executed.

Honestly, to me that makes what Im saying more sense. If he was a cold hearted killer then he wouldnt have came downstairs and said that he killed his wife. He's probably sick I know what u are saying. He does have a conscience but that doesn't matter he killed her and he knew it was wrong. therefore he should get punished.
